"I've been living here for just over 2 years. It's a great location with very little crime or drugs. The police are very active here which is reassuring. Very quiet neighborhood that is surrounded by trees, insulating it from the traffic of Dekalb Ave. Never had any disputes with the management or any issues with the apartment."

"I have rented a 2 bedroom apartment at Camellia Decatur for the past 6 months now and cannot say enough good things about living here. A new management company took over the property recently and they have been excellent so far. The property manager is very attentive to the needs of the residents and prospective residents. Maintenance staff are top notch and quick to respond with professional service. The units are newly renovated, clean, and modern, located in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. Amenities - pool, green space, dog park are excellent."

"I have been renting an apartment in this complex for some time now and have had a wonderful experience. Since the new management took over, the process has been much smoother and more efficient. The property manager has been great to work with, always responsive and helpful. It's also in a safe and quiet neighborhood, perfect for families with children. The school district is top-notch and my daughter attends a great elementary school nearby. The outdoor space and pool are clean and well managed now. I highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a great place to live. The management team is top-notch, the location is fantastic, and the amenities are excellent."

"Apartments are quiet and in a great neighborhood. They advertise that there is a pool and it was a factor in deciding to move here. The pool is closed and even though they say it will open we are half way through June and no one has even looked at it! It looks like a disgusting swamp! When I moved in the apartment was not ready even though they had a month to be sure everything worked! The washer caused a flood in the kitchen and the bathroom, and there was no heat for days. If they advertise as having a pool they need to fix the pool."

"Absolutely WORST management company I have EVER experienced. In order to get a response from maintenance you must make multiple calls and requests. I’ve had a leaking water heater for 2 days with no hot water and can’t get anyone to acknowledge my request. In addition, I submitted a request a few months ago because when work was being done on the unit below me, they drilled up into my floor which caused a hole and started lifting the planks. After the first request they dismissed it canceling my request in the system without addressing it. I made a second request and, after coming out to look at the issue, they said “this looks like a pretty expensive repair. Do you really think you need it replaced?” What?!!! This came from who appeared to be the maintenance manager. They said they’d speak with construction to see if replacement was possible and eventually emailed saying “we will not be replacing the flooring at this time.” That’s it. No resolution. No concern, no responsibility, nothing. Since then the planks have lifted even more to the point where I currently have them duck taped down. Can we say GHETTO!!! My 3 year old son cut his foot on it which led to me taping it. The lack of concern for maintenance issues that their residents are experiencing tells you everything you need to know about this place. STAY AWAY!! I can confirm everything the other reviewers have said. The improvements that they made to increase rent look nice, but were poorly done and show. I’m the first person to live in this unit since the renovations and, 8 months in, everything is falling apart. Do yourself and seek out a property that isn’t managed by Braden Feldman. Counting down the days until my lease is up."
