"The gentleman who said there's drug activity is absolutely right. During almost the entire time I was living here, my room reeked horribly of marijuana thanks to a neighbor who was smoking it inside their room. The smell was so strong you'd think someone was doing it in my unit. None of the property managers could figure out who it was. It took several weeks and multiple attempts trying to contact them to get back to me with any sort of "answer" (only to say they walked around and didn't find anything). I was only asking for a weekly update, even if it was just about their plans on what to do, and they couldn't even do that. Imagine being forced to investigate the issue yourself despite the property managers having a better idea of who lives there and what unit vents are connected. In fact, they were asking ME who it is. How am I supposed to know? It was impossible to tell which direction the smell was coming from (let alone which room), and I wasn't about to start knocking on every door and revealing who I am without the culprit revealing who they are. What they did do was putting me in touch with the courtesy officer, who later stopped responding to my messages altogether months before he stopped working in the community. I only found out he had stopped working here not long before I was to move out. The lack of care and transparency from the team got so bad that I gave up completely on trying to get hold of anyone or getting anything done and counted the days until I could move out. This is not the end of my nightmare of an experience here. Aside from the property managers being hard to reach (actually, near-impossible most times), the washing machine in my unit wasn't inspected AT ALL before I moved in. There were black specks in it that I had to clean out before using it at all, and when I washed my clothes, it released more specks that got onto my (white) clothes and STAINED them. To this day, those clothes have been rendered unwearable. It took 3 times telling the apartment for them to do anything except "clean" the machine. Cleaning wouldn't help because it would release more of these specks upon use! They finally switched the washing machine with one in a different unit, transferring the problem, but not resolving anything. No one compensated me in any way for this. Pretty much every appliance in my unit broke or needed repairing at some point during my yearlong lease. Also, pretty much every appliance was outdated. This doesn't seem to be the case for all units, as I talked to another resident and they told me they had brand-new appliances in their unit. Avoid like the plague!"
"If I could give this property more than five stars, I totally would! The property is literally in the heart of everything, but the major selling point was the upkeep of the property and the amazing staff. I met Brandon, Brenda and Verlencia when I toured last week, and everyone was extremely nice. The office was beautiful, and maintenance were friendly, even speaking as we rode the community. I felt right at home here and will be putting in my application asap!"
"I love the community, my daughter has lived at Andover since February and absolutely loves it, she is glad to have had such a great experience with her first apartment. The community is clean and well maintained. We love the location of the community as well."
"The place that I recommend to no one to live. They will clearly answer that since I was not in the contract I will not be able to give an opinion, but it doesn't matter, here is my story. It's been 2 years since I lived in those apartments and Mrs. Jenifer and Ana made our lives impossible while there. In fact, when we wanted to renew, they didn't give us the option to do so, we simply had to leave for no reason. When we left we clearly couldn't leave in peace. They didn't want to return the deposit to us because they wanted to charge a fee for the folder (?) a folder that they hadn't changed in two and a half years because I had a dog, but then why do they charge an extra fee every month? We left the apartment painted so that they wouldn't take away our deposit, but of course we always had to see a reason to continue charging. so we decided to leave that deposit and not insist on it being returned. but to surprise us even more, they told us that we owed more!!!!! of what they kept as a deposit. so we decided to leave them the contact of our lawyer and they will organize with him! and we never received a call or response about this again, that happened in August 2021! and today, September 2023, we only received a call from collections that we were reported for a fine from them (?) What a lack of respect and communication you have. I wanted to believe that people I knew and lived there were unlucky when they left or failed in something, but I realize that the failure lies with you and you are always looking for ways to get money from all of us who are passing through that place. They are embarrassing and I definitely do not recommend it to ever live!"
"Was living there from about 2018- 2020. Had no issues till the end when they were trying to up charge me and put the rent higher with no chance to renew contract. Jennifer is at the time one of the managers that pretty much did not give me an option but to leave. Then they want to charge me for carpet that was never replaced while I was there. Also charge me for painting when I painted the apartment before I left. So they kept my deductible and charged me on top of that. Terrible experience, wouldn't recommend and over priced! Also I had my lawyer dispute charge and they just sent charge straight to collections and didn't communicate with lawyer!"
