The Marbut is a new mixed-use project located in East Atlanta Village, at 512 Flat Shoals Avenue Southeast. Developed by Pellerin Real Estate, this project is set to be completed in 2021 and will feature 6,000 square feet of commercial space on the ground level, as well as twenty one-bedroom apartments on the upper floors. The site was originally home to the historic Marbut & Minor General Mercantile Store, and the new building will be named "The Marbut" in honor of its legacy. The existing 12,600 square foot brick building on the site will be renamed "The Minor" upon its redevelopment in 2021, while retaining its historic character.
