"The apartment is beautiful however some of the tenants are nasty they keep the hallways dirty and with food on the floor on the two middle floors. Leasing office owes me money that they never gave back or applied to my rent. I've been trying to get information from them for a while now for a program that wants to help with rent they didn't give me the paperwork to upload to the site. They had a murder over here and someone else got shot. Maintenance will enter apartment without permission. Make sure you have to cameras. The cars kept getting broken into and messed by children from other apartments because we have no gate or anything. You would think after they spent all this money they would have put up gates. They will put out paperwork for the stuff to not happen when they say it Will or they'll try to ut paperwork on your door from the day before . They changed our mailboxes so nobody is receiving mail and the post office doesn't answer even after we are filling out our address like they told us after the change. You can't get ahold of corporate for anything.. the communication needs to be a lot better than it is and when I signed the lease and when I did the application months before moving I wasn't told we had to pay electric which isn't an issue it just needs to be told upfront during the application process so people who may not have funds can prepare ahead of time. the pet fee in the application says $200 they put a line through that and put it $300. Oh and everyone rent is different. Some people paying 900 for a 2 bedroom. And if they're on section 8!they either pay nothing or a small portion and if you work they're making you pay as much as they can which doesn't sound right if it is based off income. I've been here since May 2023."
"Property Manager Torri Carr is so welcoming, knowledgeable, and really made me feel at home from day 1. Beautiful property, solid maintenance, and nice amenities. I would definitely recommend Reserve at Hollywood."
"Where do I start!? My car has been broken into 3 TIMES and we haven’t been here 6 months yet. These apartments have been on the news already for someone being shot and killed here and the complex hasn’t been housing tenants for a full year yet. We are still BEGGING for a gate to surround the complex, but corporate felt that cameras would be a better fit. We also had an officer patrolling the area, not anymore.. that lasted about 2wks. There are kids running up and down the hallways all night and day making all type of noise playing/screaming in the hallway. It’s ridiculous, if you have a remote job you might be fired due to the noise! The people above me are constantly stomping, running, and playing music like they live alone and not in a complex. Let’s not talk about the fire alarm, if someone pulls the fire alarm in the hallways, the unit alarms go off too. No matter what time it is.. they usually pull the fire alarms around 12a-4a so be prepared for that. If you have small children or infants, I’m sorry no one will care about your safety, security, and peace. I wouldn’t move here unless it’s was my very last resort, like close to desperate decision making."
"These apartments opened in May 2023, I've lived here since July 2023 and 2 days after moving in my car (and multiple others on the property) was broken into - window smashed, attempted theft of property, damage to property, and vandalism of vehicle ignition, rendering my car almost immobile. Since then the property has put up cop lot cameras, but I've still witnessed people's cars being broken into 6 months later. On top of that there's the kids who run up and down the hallways at all hours of the day/night, pulling fire alarms and then breaking the fire alarm system so it goes off at 7:55am every day. People here don't know how to properly dispose of their trash - they throw bags on the ground by the dumpsters leaving the perfect opportunity for rats to investigate (yes, I've seen the rats). Dog owners don't leash their dogs or pick up after their dogs, so watch where you step! Trash is strewn around the property like nobody cares. People scream, yell, and fight loud enough to penetrate the walls. A resident threatened to shoot my dog while we were on a walk, even though my dog was under total control and nowhere near the man. Leasing office listens to complaints but does nothing. When confronted about the kids pulling fire alarms the office said they were having issues connecting to the security camera network due to bad wifi. Hope you're willing to install a security system and pay for high renter's and car insurance if you decide to live here!"
"I read a post that says these apartments have the bare minimum. There is no place outside to sit and enjoy the day. Minimum space inside. Bedrooms are very small. We weren't able to get my son's bedroom furniture in to his room. We planned for minimum living room space and sold our sectional and much more. It's like I saw this coming. I was unable to look at the apartment. It wouldn't have mattered at that time because housing is so limited. I actually tried to get out of my lease but couldn't. They are definitely designed for a budget. I could enjoy it here but management does not manage. Complaints go unresolved except people being shot. I could say a great deal concerning the noise. No conversation is private. If privacy is what you want this is not the place. Hotels are much more quiet. I have been complaining about my neighbor upstairs for four months and nothing has been done. This is a tax credit property but that woman has managed to take two apartments having a sliding door installed from the apartment next door. She tried to force us out so she could keep her secret. She claimed work from home but she doesn't. She has no job but manages to drive a brand new car, and pay $3 to $4,000 per month for rental of two apartments. She travels from North Carolina, to Florida, and to and from Atlanta weekly. I'm still filing complaints with HUD, Fair Housing. ADA, and EEOE. It's not a very good place to live for seniors and disabled. Every senior I know have been turned down. Homeless is being turned down and disabled. Vacant disabled apartments are sitting empty because the woman up stairs doesn't want anyone below her."
