"I lived there for 4 years and it was a great place. At $275/mo and free utilities. These apartments are old for sure."
"I have lived here for 1yr an 10mos now and I have to say that the leasing office makes this place unbearable. I have spoken to Temu, Bianca, and Selena about my issue multiple times. However somehow everytime I do it is the first time they are hearing of it. I have been trying to get 2 holes in my walls fixed since last summer and it is December now. It was explained to me that I might have some charges to fix this. That is acceptable. What is not acceptable is that I have had countless conversations with the office members with no progress. It feels as if they are kicking my problem down the road and no one wants to address it. I have emailed them pictures and even gone up to the office in person with no help being given. It is starting to get colder and the holes are affecting my heating bill obviously. It looks like I am going to have to get my own handy man to fix them. I also received EVICTION NOTICES and threats as if I don't pay my rent on time every single month. Even when I went in person and showed my receipt, they STILL continued to threaten me with legal action. You would think they would treat a valued, long term paying tenant a bit better and with more courtesy. I would only move here if you ABSOLUTELY have no other choice. Thr complexes next door are much nicer with similar rates. The front gate is not even fixed and has been broken since I moved in with no plans to fix it. At least we have a "courtesy officer" who can dial 911 for us. Will be looking into the Cabre for housing next spring. IF YOU DO MOVE HERE OR LIVE HERE: Check your kitchen for black mold, my ceiling was leaking and my cabinets were full of it. This place is ok, but if the office was actually professional it would be great."
"The area and location is convenient. Complex is quiet. Neighbors are good. They patch the buildings like quilts, random water damage, no identifying uniform or tags for workers that show up, no notice of repairs or warning that anyone is coming until you push hard enough. No formal way to submit and track maintenance requests, you submit them over the phone or by email and have to keep following up. Dog and cat feces all over the property so much so its difficult to walk a dog without stepping in it, they only cover it with landscaping throughout the year. Roaches depend on your neighbors but they are there. Over priced for what they offer!!! The manager gets an attitude when you actually care about where you reside. If you move there communicate with email so you have a record and record all conversations. Check your vents, cabinets, doors, corners, closets..... check EVERYTHING and everywhere before you move!!! They will move you in without cleaning. BE CAREFUL! Lol you actually responded. Stop playing. You know all of my complaints and have access to all the pictures If you move into J8 be aware that you will experience random water damage where there shouldn't be. And for the photos this is what was under the cabinet liners I used! Pay attention to the ceiling often and behind the front door.... water spots and oil spots. The prior tenant had massive mold and water damage and they moved me in less than a month after. Mold was found in the bathroom vent after they said there was none. And I made them tear out the closet to fix it... they planned to just paint over it as they normally do. The whole building J has water damage issues!! The roof has been patched often. And pay attention to the heater closet, you'll hear water dripping when it rains, and they'll tell you they see nothing and wipe "condensation" from tune heater and add tape."
"I just would like to let everyone to know I have been in this community since 2017 and I know this is a wonderful place to live. The kindness and share of food for tendons are the best. Thank you I just came to pick up the deposit check and was $600. Short someone please call me and explain why!!! Ugh After 6 years Well, update don't expect your deposit they took mine I'm showing how I left my apartment. Not such a good place after all. Told I was owed $300 from the previous month then changed it to late fees(once they realized it) and paid 12000.00. Hard time waiting for a new place. $300 for 7 days. If make a deposit don't expect it back I guess the Owner doesn't have enough money he does take from work class. I'm going to say a prayer for my peace. God will take care of this."
"Just want to let ya’ll know before you apply. This is not a second chance complex as advertise. The process was long. I was upfront and they lied that I didn’t list my pet and mention it. Just say you’ll listen to some bogus story but hey every disappointment is a blessing. I’m glad because some of the reviews on here about Roaches. I can’t stand roaches so I’m better off..I only give an extra star for kayla. She’s sweet."
