"Calhoun Housing Authority does not care about helping people , it’s a money scheme, they try to get you evicted so someone new can take your spot so they can make more money. They’ll even go as far as assuming someone lives there that isn’t on the lease then make rediculous demands for proof they don’t live there and say if you can’t provide it you’ll be evicted ? Makes no sense. Don’t even feel comfortable having family come visit because people here are so nosy and scared I will cause problems between housing authority and my family resident who stays there. Do not recommend 0/10"
"When experiencing situations and circumstances is not always easy, Because we're so much in a hurry Of trying to get approved and move in,You have to always wait on God's Timing. I'm proud to speak Great things about Miss Mary, and Tiffany. Whenever trials you run into, always keep an Obedient response."
"ive lived here a few years and i like it only place i can afford to live"
"Discriminate treatment towards minorities. Rent should be based on income level indicated but when you bring proof of less income, no changes are made. You are spoken ti very rudely."
"I was treated very racist by the executive. Because I addressed a breech in a young lady I was helping to find housing. The receptionist leaked the young lady's information and because I professionally explained her rights and the violation which this fell under. The executive got up, turn what look like a light switch and told me she had turned the security camera on and to leave her office because I would NOT speak to her like that. Mind you I was sitting with my legs crossed and hands-on my lap. My tone was pleasant and low. I literally was band from the Calhoun housing. After which I have since some my research and found many other stories similar to this treatment. I am in process of addressing the entire team involved from the chairman who overlooked the claim and the workers involved. I have reached out to the headquarters and will be speaking with press. The young lady who is pregnant and homeless ended up pulling he application because she was not made to feel her information would be confidential. That is NEVER ok."
