Days Inn by Wyndham Valdosta/Near Valdosta Mall

"The Hair Dryer is attached to the wall, yet no outlet to plug it in. Requested a blow dryer or a drop cord, for hair was soaking wet from the shower. Front desk made fun of me and said I didn't know what I was talking about. Explained I had somewhere to be and I needed help with this and I could get sick. I was mocked again and when I got upset due to her comments, she hung up on me. I went to the lobby with my soaking wet hair and demanded a manager. She looked at me and showed all her teeth like a Chihuahua. She called the police on me from her cell phone because I demanded a blow dryer or a refund. She did not believe that I had no outlet, yet refused to come look. I took pictures and tried to show her. Literally no way to plug in the blow dryer....the outlet was completely missing in room 139! She refused to provide her name. I reported everything to the corporate office. I showed up to my meeting late and soaked hair! Awaiting a FULL refund! Do not stay there! Horrible place and horrible staff!"

"Overall a okay hotel would stay again if I had to but if other hotels are available i would go there. The location is right off the exit however, the outside of the rooms and around the location of the hotel is SKETCHY. There were cops driving around both night we were there. The rooms are average but heavy smoke smell and you could hear people above you and beside you. The microwave didn’t have a plate in it and the outlet didn’t work. Sheets were stained and the floor had tons of sand. Definitely a 2-3 star hotel."

"We stayed in a handicap room as my husband travels with his electric bike, and we have a German shepherd. We needed a little extra space for both. The evening front desk Man was very friendly and suggested the room for us. The morning front desk Lady was very pleasant and offered to fill my water bottle with hot water so I could make tea for myself on our road trip. The rooms are average but the price and service is amazing!! You could tell that the people who work here really care about their guests! There was plenty of room on the lawn for my husband to play with our German Shepherd and his chuck it. We would stay here again. Highly recommend this place!"

"The rooms have been recently renovated and very nice. We have a small dog and I was pleasantly surprised at the lush grounds for walking the dog. Unfortunately I was disappointed by other pet owners who don’t think they need to pick up after their pets. I do not in any way think this is the fault of the staff."

"Clean and nice rooms. Looks like it was recently renovated. The exterior definitely needs some sprucing up, it was confusing to me that days inn and super 8 was the same place, the lights in the signs need to be replaced on the outside of the building, the only one that works is the super 8. My only true complaint was that housekeeping knocked on my door at 10:35am when check out is 11am. But in the bigger scheme of things it served the purpose of sleep and a hot shower just perfectly. Breakfast consists of prepackaged muffins and juice, and of course coffee. I would stay here again with no problem. The staff was kind. Definitely no major problems."
