"The market is pretty decent but it is really hit or miss. Some days they have absolutely nothing. Who knows what the best date and time is. And when the back door is open you can see they have tons of food they haven't put out. I understand having to watch the amounts but this place gives the impression of being really stingy. The other BIG issue is the people who work in there. There are a few women who are unbelievably rude. One was weighing everything like to the ounce like she paid for it herself. It's a food pantry, lady. If it's close let it go. Another lady YELLED at me when I went to just open the meat cooler. I didn't say anything, I just stood there, and she shouted at me again, that she needed to help me with that cooler. I waited for her to come over without saying anything. I was so angry and embarrassed. Like why act like that? Just let us know calmly instead of shouting at us like hunger animals or thieves. She hit all in my face asking what meat I wanted, I said I have no idea, I haven't even gotten to look. She keeps on right in my personal space, won't even let me look to see what kind of frozen mattress they are, and I finally just said I'll just take this one and picked one up without even checking it. Then she has the audacity to say "that's a pork loin!" loud as hell, as if I'd never seen one before. I said I know it is, thank you and walked away. They also constantly change things up. One week I'm allowed to get canned tuna, the next week they have written a little flimsy sign behind it "families with kids only". Their signs are not conspicuous and they act like you're crazy and should know all their changing rules. They're too busy getting in people's business to restock the shopping bags or remove rotten dripping produce. Customers outside talk about how they act and who not to deal with. There are only 2 women there that are nice and act like people instead of crazed robo cops with no social skills. But hey, ya gotta go but I hate dealing with the people."
"Friendly personnel, good selection of vegetables and bread. You need to show proof of residency and register."
