Atlanta Marriott Suites Midtown

"This was the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff was very friendly and personal and made sure to answer any questions I had. The only issue I had was that I was charged for my room early which I was not expecting but it wasn't a huge issue. The desk manager made sure that I wasn't double charged which helped set things at ease as well. The rooms were clean but the ac had a slight smell whenever it first kicked on, but that quickly subsided. The bed was so comfy that it made it quite difficult to wake up the next morning. The bathroom was spotless and the tub made it easy for a nice soak after a nice shower in the walk in shower. My room had a nice little "living area" with a decent pull out couch. There was a really nice bay window in the room and a balcony which I didn't even know I had until I walked into my room. The staff made sure I was able to get into and out of the parking deck even though I didn't have a parking pass because it had not been turned in from the last person who had it. They made sure I had everything I needed. I will definitely be staying here again"

"First off they put me in a room in the back of the building... With a loud air conditioning system... I went to the front desk and requested to be placed in another room, preferably on the front of the building if they were available .. I was told that it would be $60+ per night for city view... I sain you can't be serious.. when all the rooms are mostly the same. The front desk agent was nice enough to place me in a room on the front on a lower floor no charge. About the rooms... OLD AND DATED. Refurbished and maintained since the 90s from what it seem but definitely needs renovations. Rooms have great space and happy to know you need a room key at unsecured hours.. the location is central but almost no parking and they ask for $40 per night to park which is outrageous. Unless super cheep I won't be back.. definitely a 3 star experience at best.... and 4 star is a no for me."

"The hotel is nice especially the lobby and bar/eating area. The room we had is clean, spacious but dated. Needs a fresher look. The balcony was cool to have and did add some ambience. Parking is reasonable at $34 and it is underground so it seems safe. The location in midtown is better which makes it safer and more walkable. Originally I was going to stay downtown but that area was not as clean and had more homeless. Overall good experience for one night."

"Great location near the Botanical Garden, High Museum, Aquarium and Zoo. There’s some restaurants nearby as well as a Whole Foods. The room was nice. My only disappointment was that there was no microwave. This is one in the hallway that we used. My motivation for writing my review however is just how nice everyone is at the hotel. They are super friendly and helpful. A very pleasant stay."

"Staff was good but not very friendly. As a bonvoy member I have stayed in better places with better amenities. For the price we paid there should be at least free breakfast and some kind of discount for parking instead of charging $4 for a cup of coffee and $34 a day for parking. We had one of the penthouse suites which was cool as far as the views. The room was clean except for the hair in the shower. Other than that it was a cool experience but I don’t think I’ll stay at this location again while visiting Atlanta. But I will say it was nice that they checked us in early than expected."
