"I went to Chattanooga Sawmill looking for some live edge walnut for a project. Carter, the owner, was very helpful. He got several slabs out for me to look at. While I was looking, thinking, and contemplating layout on the slabs he went about his work. He never bothered me to hurry but he did answer any and all questions I had. He has a large selection of various species of lumber. His kiln is also top of the line. Prices are very good for his slabs and renting kiln space is very cheap. I will be back for more slabs as well as to rent kiln space. Thank you Carter."

"Do not buy this wood. We spent a lot of money on wood to have a pergola built. It is less than a year old and already big chunks of wood are crumbling off and nearly all of the top slats are badly warping and cracking. Terrible quality. Get your wood elsewhere."
