"Staff friendly, but the store needs to be clutter free. It's hard to find things."

"Normally a great store for items you need past 8pm. Most employees are super nice but the current evening manager (or I’m assuming she is) decided to get up from the store sold chair at the end of the register and check me out. I had roughly 12 items and the only two words spoken were my total and “here you go”, as she handed me my receipt. Listen, if you’re having a bad day…don’t make mine bad too. Maybe retail isn’t your forte! ✌️"

"Why can't I just pay $2 for one battery? Otherwise, good store. Good location south of Gainesville, northwest of Oakwood."

"They were going to have my car towed on Halloween. I was inside the store waiting to checkout. There was one person inside the store, in the middle of peak business, was new, and she was trying her absolute best to cash everyone out, but if you have ever been there, you know speedy checkout has never been their strong suit. The other employee was playing parking lot god, and calling the local tow company, trying to get cars towed that she felt had been there too long. After standing in line for nearly an hour, i finally got cashed out, and when i walked outside, that nice lady was standing behind my car, giving the tag number, and telling whomever was on the other end that my car had been there for hours. I told her if she would go inside and worry about the people trying to cash out, people wouldn't be stuck there that long. She refused to give me her name, the manager's name or the district manager's name. Now, whenever i go in the store, that same wonderful specimen of the model employee refused to cash me out. It's ok though, with their turnover rate, she'll be gone in three months. Aside from that, the store is always a mess! The manager is rude. And most of the stuff they sell is pure garbage. I only ever stop there, because it is so, so much more convenient that driving elsewhere."

"This is where I go when I forgot something or do not have time to go anywhere else. There’s another Dollar General off of Falcons Pkwy/Atlanta Hwy/Whatever it’s called now they are so much better. The whole store is crowded & unorganized. The manager here once made me feel like I was crazy. I had dropped something so she went in the back & reviewed the camera without even telling me what she was doing. Then someone called me when I left & said they found what I had dropped & apologized to me. I once saw an employee getting reprimanded in front of a long line of customers with 1 register open & 3 employees standing there. I also witnessed them accusing a man of stealing a few months ago. Just terrible management. I try my best to not go here at all!!!!!!!!!"
