We have done primarily servicing and preventative measures until today when we needed to replace some major parts. Considering how much we like our Subzeros and the low maintenance over the years, we feel like spending money on major repairs is well worth the quality and extended use of these appliances. It is so nice to have James, who specializes in Subzeros and is so well versed there are never surprises. I love how James will talk me through what he recommends and the preventative measures and what parts affect others and why certain repairs are more important than others. I appreciate being given options. I find James and Appliance Care of Atlanta to be professional, reasonably priced, upfront, good communicators, reliable, trustworthy and efficient. Time is money and I prefer not to waste more time with less skilled techs. James is awesome! James is Honest and very neat in his work space. He is welcome in our home anytime. "My dryer was WORSE after they "inspected it". My technician was nice enough but seemed a bit inexperienced and couldn't answer what I thought to be pretty basic questions like "How hot should a dryer get?". After explaining the symptoms it was determined to likely be a vent related issue so he referred me to a vent cleaning specialist. He did the inspection and identified a thermal cut off fuse had blown. He could have replaced it for a cool $280 (for a $5 part and 15 minutes max of work but I digress) but since an untreated vent issue would have theoretically just caused the issue to keep happening, we decided just to pay for the $70 inspection fee and keep using the dryer without heat until the vent guy could come out. An hour or two later and the dryer is tripping the breaker, when I reached out the tech admitted he might have forgotten to reconnect everything. I opened up the dryer and sure enough, there was a wire touching the dryer base that had "popped" and melted the wire. I have called multiple times asking to speak to a manager and have been basically blown off, saying one would call and never has. I think it's reasonable to at least expect to be refunded my inspection fee after having to not only pay for the initial repair but to get the wiring replaced also. At this point though, it's been crickets. I'm very disappointed and would strong advise going elsewhere. I'd give them 1 star but the vent person they recommended actually did an awesome job, repaired the part for a fraction of the cost they wanted to charge... and so I'm grateful for that."
