"Our kitchen tabletop finish was coming off. We weren’t sure of type of wood or what would be required. We talked to a few companies who said bring it in or send a photo. I explained the table was too big to bring in and the problem did not show up in a photo. Asim, owner/operator of Apex Furniture and Refinishing, came to our home to see what was needed. We were so impressed with his knowledge and agreed on the spot to work with him. We were amazed with the finished product. We had been a little concerned because of the color variations in the wood, but he did a great job, returned it sooner than expected, and it looked brand new."

"Quality craftsmanship but LOUSY communication skills and time management. We agreed to pay $1200 for repair work to a credenza after bringing it to the shop and having it looked over. We gave a 50% deposit and were told it would take 3-4 months. I won't bore you with all the broken promises ("oh only another couple weeks" and similar messages) but now 20 months later (yes, TWENTY months) we have our piece back. Unfortunately we were surprised the day before delivery with an invoice that was more than double the amount we had originally been quoted. The first mention of the potential increased bill was 2 weeks prior when we went to the shop to drop off new drawer handles to be installed and saw the piece for the first time in more than a year and a half. If you are not concerned about a fluctuating price and the turnaround time for a repair, this is the place to go for high quality workmanship."
