Reviews
"I have walked-in twice for a manicure. The first time I saw Penny, and the second I saw Susan. They both did a wonderful job. The spa is beautiful and clean, and all the staff are great. It was a pleasant experience. I recommend making an appointment because they seem to be busy- which is a great sign."
"I made a manicure and pedicure appointment online with Johnny for 10:30am yesterday and he was late, though he did apologize for his tardiness when he arrived. I was told Johnny doesn’t do pedicures so another colleague, Henry, started doing my pedicure while waiting for Johnny to arrive. I was fine with changing pedicure technicians because this was my first time going to this establishment and I had only chose Johnny due to his being recommended by a previous client. When Johnny arrived he kept pushing the more expensive gel manicure when I told him I wanted the paraffin manicure with classic color. I was disappointment to find that Johnny does not respect boundaries. I had to tell Johnny over 3 times I did not want the gel polish. Johnny emphasized multiple times that the classic manicure polish only lasts “2 days” according to him and it was only after I told him I was doing test runs of services for my upcoming wedding and would be back so I didn’t need the color to last did he start proceeding with the manicure with classic color. Johnny then proceeded to accidentally cut me during the manicure itself and there was blood all over my finger. When I asked Johnny for a bandaid because my cuticle was actively bleeding, Johnny didn’t take responsibility for his actions. Johnny did not apologize for making me bleed and instead he tried to justify his actions by saying I had dry skin. Johnny not only did not apologize for causing me to bleed but he made no attempts to stop what he was doing to go get the bandaid even after I requested a bandaid multiple times. Instead of apologizing and administrating first aid to resolve his mistake, Johnny proceeded with the manicure and after finishing, he condescendingly repeated that he did not like my choice of classic manicure paint because it took longer for it to dry. It’s my body and my choice what I put on my body, and as I was paying for a service I found it unacceptable that Johnny repeated denounced the service he was providing and didn’t provide basic respect and decency for what I chose. However, Johnny’s rudeness is still less concerning then his failure to stop what he was doing and provide the basic first aid requested. Johnny just went ahead and painted on the bloody finger like it was nothing to him to cause a client to bleed. I did appreciate that Henry was polite and did a good job with my paraffin pedicure without trying to talk me out of my choice of classic polish."
"Johnny did my sister's nails and my nails and Kathy did my Mom's nails! We had such a nice experience. They both gave excellent SNS manicures and were so friendly. We definitely will be back and highly recommend!"
"Can be hit or miss depending on who you get. I got Johnny one time and he did an amazing job, so I’ve been booking my appointments with him ever since. Before that, I’ve left this place frustrated and crying over how horrible my nails looked. I won’t name names but if you want someone trustworthy, go to Johnny."
"they didn’t tell me the name of my manicurist but she really was the sweetest person ever which is why it pains me to write this review. i’ve come in several times before to get the exact same thing with other people and it has turned out fine. today I came in for nails i really needed perfect for a trip and the price I paid does not reflect the quality. I paid $80 after tip for a S&S manicure. I wanted my base to be clear but my artist kept putting a pink base which covered up the color of my French tip. she finally did clear but it ended up just looking like everything was blended together instead of a line like how it should be for a french tip. she told me she was going to go over it with the matching gel color on top to give me that harsh line I wanted but she did it extremely sloppy in about one minute and I just can’t believe this is what my money got me. i’ve included the picture of what I wanted. I also included a few pictures of how sloppy the tip was done. as I said before my manicurist was wonderful and I am usually never picky or want to complain but this just is not worth $80."
