Georgia Bob's BBQ - Perry, GA

"So I pulled up to the drive thru at Georgia Bob's. Three cars ahead of me but exceptionally slow. I order 2 sliced brisket sandwiches and sit back for the wait. It's quite a wait, probably 8-10 minutes. Finally get my food and head home for dinner. I get my coke and sit down to eat. I open the bag to find a hamburger and baked beans. Why is this so hard? It's not like they were in a rush. This has become the rule in the food service industry not the exception. What other industry could operate so incompetently so consistently and remain in business."

"Felt like this place wasn't for people of color! Weird vibe. The food was hot, no complaints! Got fried pickles and 2 bbq dinners!"

"Ladies restroom was out of toilet paper. The paper towel dispenser was broken. The pepper shaker on the table was dusty and had fizz on top. They were out of bread so I got a hamburger bun with my meal, straight out of the bag, no butter or garlic or anything. Walmart is across the street….just saying. The coleslaw is not sweet, it was bad. The pork is ok. I wouldn’t come back at all."

"Okay, we'd never been to Georgia Bobs,, but will now have to make it a stop in our annual Perry, GA trip! The homemade seasoned pork skins are worth it alone! Loved the BBQ salad with pulled pork, and got a side of sweet potato tots to round out the meal. Amazing y'all...stop in and give it a try!"

"On our way home we discovered this resturaunt. By far one of the best BBQ I have had in a long time. This place is now our family pit stop every time go back home. The ribs fall of the bone and the smoked chicken is AMAZING!!!"
