"We were told by some locals while on our hike today to go here for dinner and we are so glad we took them up on it. Wow! 55 day aged beef cuts that were so incredibly tasty, I can’t even begin to tell you how good it was. Pricey? Sure, but you are getting some of the best cuts of meat, fresh from the butchers table—yes, this place is also a butcher shop! Gotta check it out! Downtown Chattanooga—incredible!"

"Amazing 55 day dry aged Strip. Wife had the pork chop with mash. Both meals superb!!!! A friend of ours has major dining restrictions, and they accommodated her perfectly. Our waiter Dalton, was absolutely fantastic, and his service and care was perfection. The bourbon selection is unmatched, and we will be back here every time we’re in town. Highly recommended, this is a must!! Oh, and the charred broccoli was incredible!"

"Asked a local for the best place to get a steak, and this was one of the recommendations. I'm glad we opted for this location. The ribeye steak was delicious and paired well with our bottled of red wine. The broccoli wasn't my favorite. The house made chips were classic. The mashed potatoes were so airy and fluffy! All in all, a great experience, wonderful meat selection. Will recommend and return when in Chattanooga."

"Had the opportunity to enjoy lunch here and it absolutely lived up to our expectations. We were greeted by friendly staff who helped us to a table. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and more than willing to offer helpful suggestions to have the best dining experience. We began our meal with the Whipped Gouda and Balsamic Strawberries. It was a great mix of both flavor and texture. For a main we decided to split the burger which was cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. It was even served sliced for us, which was a nice touch. To accompany the burger we ordered the Potato Salad and Drop Biscuits. The Potato Salad was INCREDIBLE! A mix of a roasted potato, mashed potato, and potato salad that together made an unexpectedly remarkable side. We would go back simply for those. The drop biscuits were also very well flavored with a crispy exterior and a fluffy interior that was accompanied well with a honey butter sauce. All in all our experience was great and this will absolutely be a go-to for us. Update: Made a point to have dinner here to celebrate our anniversary and it was delicious, yet again! Great quality and presentation with extremely attentive and helpful staff. Easily one of our favorite dining experiences."

"MSM is a wonderful spot in the Chattanooga food scene! The menu features a selection of tried-and-true favorites, such as the local burger, which has won best burger in Chattanooga for several years. Along side the favorites is a rotation of seasonal dishes. There’s always something new to try! On this visit, it was the smoked beef sandwich which was amazing. Their bar program has a great selection of craft cocktails including a weekly Tipple (beer & shot of whiskey). Not only is this a restaurant, but it’s also a full-fledged butcher shop with a meat counter to fulfill all your beef dreams. There’s also a selection of taking baked goods if you’re on the go. It is a relatively small restaurant, but has sidewalk seating and can be crowded at times. But aren’t the good places always are?"
