"I honestly had high expectations for good food since I had saved this place years ago. The menu seems like it’s been simplified from earlier reviews and the food left a lot to be desired. The short ribs were thin (and weren’t worth $20), the fries were stale, the chicken skewers did not look like the menu photo with greens, the paper they serve it on now ends up tearing and being eaten with the food (looks like it used to be banana leaves?), the salad was wilted, and the beer price charged was higher than stated on the wall. Overall I didn’t feel like it was worth $60 for those 3 non-fresh-tasting menu items served on paper with zero garnish. It’s really disappointing compared to how delicious the food used to look in previous reviews."

"This was my third time ordering food from this restaurant. I received my order and it was only 2 scoops of rice and not the usual three. The food( bbq chicken) looked stale. It looked like food that was stored in the fridge or dishes out to someone else and had been quickly heated for me. I tried calling them(twice) to complain about this but nobody picked up. I’m very disappointed. Unfortunately, this is the last time I’ll be ordering from this restaurant. Update: After the first incident with Estrellita, I decided to give them another try. I have ordered from them multiple times and the food was good every single time. I have ordered almost 10x or more and every single time, I have been happy with their service. I decided it’s time to give a different review. I would definitely recommend this restaurant."

"I hadn't had Filipino food in awhile and found this restaurant while scrolling through places. I had the lumpia and grilled BBQ chicken and was very happy with my food! The lumpia was super crispy, and when dipped in the spicy sauce, it only enhanced the flavor! It truly was an overload of flavors in one bite. The grilled chicken was super tender and quite delicious on its own. I only hoped that I would have gotten more meat! Although it is a focused menu, you will not be disappointed with whatever you try."

"This was my first time visiting the restaurant and I was super excited because I’ve heard good things about this restaurant. I’ve been dying to go! Luckily, I was in the area and stopped by. Let me start by saying that the service was excellent! My only complaint was the fried chicken (it was burnt.) I was warmly greeted by Aron as I walked into the restaurant. She was very open to help me with any questions about the menu as she guided me to use my phone to check out the menu options. I already had my mind set on either the Fried Chicken or short ribs. I asked for her recommendation and she told me to go with the Fried Chicken. I ordered to-go and she gave me an estimated wait time for my food as they cook everything fresh. She asked me did I want some water while I waited for my food. She even went the extra mile to find limes for my water even though they ran out. I received my to-go order within 15 minutes as promised. The rice was cooked very well and the salad was good. The fried chicken would’ve been great if it wasn’t over cooked. I could taste that my chicken was burnt but it was seasoned well. It would’ve been a great meal if the chicken wasn’t overcooked. Also, a possibility for it being burnt could be that the oil wasn’t changed? Idk but I was disappointed. I would possibly give it another chance and try the short rib."

"This place is top notch. The meat is flavorful and reasonably priced. They give you typically spicy pepper/vinegar side kickers, which add a LOT of heat, but you can just not use them if you like. Lumpia were excellent. $10 saki jars. Understaffed so sometimes to go only, but super nice staff. Light jazz on inside. Clean bathroom."
