"I loved Dr. Kimmell and was a patient of his for years. I only stopped going to him because I relocated. I will say technology isn't his strong suit and he's old school but he's a compassionate, kind and competent psychiatrist. He was always open to my experience and feedback rather than merely taking the role of he's the sole expert which is a rare trait to find in a doctor."

"Utterly worthless. Don't waste your time and money. Forgets everything. Can't receive a fax (doesn't even use email, of course), can't file an insurance claim in a timely manner. Makes you come back repeatedly before he'll write you the simplest prescription. In the end, he'll just ask you what you think you need."

"I saw Dr. Kimmell a number of times throughout 2015. I found him to be a psychiatrist of limited skill and insight. He rarely offered any suggestions on how to deal with issues that caused me to seek out a psychiatrist. Furthermore, at one point I needed Dr. Kimmell to send some of my records to an insurance firm, and he never did it. After having to repeatedly hound him, I finally had to demand a copy of my records, which he grudgingly provided. I then had to fax them myself and barely made the deadline. He also never prescribes more that a short-term supply of any medication, which forces patients to return to see him whether they need to or not. Avoid Dr. Paul Kimmell."
