"Had a wonderful time here for Valentines Day with my partner. We had a reservation, so I can’t speak to any wait times, but we were seated promptly near the bar. We tried the candied pork belly for the appetizer, but it was odd. It wasn’t candied at all, merely cooked. I’m not sure if it was a kitchen mistake or the way the appetizer was supposed to come, but it didn’t have much flavor due to the lack of the ‘candied’ aspect. As for mains, my partner had the steak frites. It was cooked very well and he enjoyed the veal demi glacé. I had the filet and it was divine. My knife cut through like butter, and the flavor was very good. It came with a side of mashed potatoes which I found a little on the salty side, but as I don’t mind generous seasoning, it was great. Overall, friendly staff and low key atmosphere. It’s a great date night spot!"
"One of the best dining experiences that I have had in a very long time. The space, the ambiance, the live music ... All really really good. But what sets this place apart is two things: food and service. The steak was literally melt in your mouth goodness, cooked perfectly. The service was top notch, from our primary waitress, who must be the friendliest young lady I have ever met, to the other staff... One who simply stopped by with recommendations when she saw us struggling over which dessert to order. If you want great food and great service, along with a pretty well put together setting, look no further. As a sidenote, it should come as no surprise that this is a popular place, PLEASE make a reservation. They were extremely busy, but we had no wait because we had reserved a table, highly recommended. Oh, and park around back in the Lawrenceville public parking... The entrance to the restaurant is actually just off the parking lot, not "around front" 10 out of 10, highly recommend"
"Our server was great and the food was great. There is complimentary valet parking in the back and you do have to enter from the back of the building. Some of the dishes are pricy but for the experience I do think it’s worth it for a date night. They make good use of the space. Just make sure you have cash for valet parking tipping."
"Perry Street Perfect! - a term used when everything is executed with perfection in mind. ( I made it up at the restaurant, lol) This establishment prides itself on great service, and it shows every step of the way. If there was anything that they did not have that I wanted, they offered several suggests, the restrooms were very clean, the pianist played a wonderful selection, and my spinalis was phenomenal! The commute is far from the downtown Atlanta IMO, but it is totally worth the drive."
"We chose Perry Street to celebrate my husbands birthday. We were seated in one of the booths and immediately fell in love with the place. Wonderful atmosphere and the service was great. We ordered the Oysters Rockefeller and they were astounding, weird that we only got 5 as typically it's either 1/2 or full dozen at other establishments. Neither of us were a fan of the lobster bisque so I can't recommend that. I had the scallops and my husband had the filet, which were both delicious and cooked perfectly. I had ordered a few cocktails and noticed each time the bar service was very slow, but the drinks were good. Our waiter brought my husband a complimentary creme brûlée and he also received a small cutting board. We will be back, as we want to try happy hour and brunch."
