"The gumbo was more like thick chicken soup. The rue was way too thick. The 32 ounce container had 2 shrimp and 5 circle size thinly sliced pieces of sausage no okra and too salty. I also ordered fried oysters, all I got was fried hard batter. Tonight’s meal was a total disaster. I make it my business to fine local. Just didn’t work out this time"

"I ordered online and my food was ready when I arrived. The service was quiet and friendly. The restaurant itself was clean but small definitely a takeout establishment. The gumbo was a definite 5/5. It was loaded with protein and very tasty. I recommend paying the up charge to get your rice on the side. The chicken was a 2/5. It was okay, not as flavorful as the gumbo and slightly fishy. I did enjoy the hush puppies. The gumbo was the star for me."
