"I honestly think his practice is a fake. He doesn't know what he's doing and he needs to be investigated."

"I saw this Dr for my thyroid medication. He didn't do blood work, just checked vitals and asked me what my current prescription was for. I provided the bottle and he called it in. It was a 30 day supply which since it's daily medication I usually get multiple refills. I'll also note that I got an immediate appointment for a first time patient with no waiting time... No one was in the office and he doesn't have a receptionist for a reason. Fast forward to Thursday when I was trying to get a refill. I called in and asked if I could get a Rx refill. He asked the last time I was in and said "no, come in." THEN HE HUNG UP. He didn't even know what the prescription was for!!! Called back and scheduled appointment. He didn't ask my name or insurance info but HUNG UP AGAIN. I was ready to go elsewhere but figured since he could get me in so soon, I'd change Dr's later. Fast forward to today. I was unable to make my appointment because my new insurance doesn't kick in until Feb 1. Called and explained I had to reschedule and attempted to explain that the medication I need is for my thyroid condition that I've had for 20 years. Advised the medication is not a narcotic and that I just need a prescription long enough to get to the next appointment seeing how I need my medication daily. He said "no"...AND HUNG UP. Called back thinking it must be a language barrier because I couldn't understand why he keept hanging up on me and was so rude! I told him that last time all he did was check vitals so why would I need to come in now? He said it's his policy AND (you guessed it) HUNG UP! Ok by now, I've decided to never give this guy business again. Called back and said I felt he was extremely rude for continuously hanging up on me as I was still talking and planned on giving him an online review. NOW suddenly this douchebag decides to explain that after so long, you have to be seen in office. I told him that's understandable if he required bloodwork everytime (which is the ONLY way to guage thyroid levels) but since he didn't bother to do that last time, his "policy" (code for "I just want to bill the insurance company") doesn't make sense. My medication is not a controlled substance and has no street value. I then hung up on him. I will now go to a walk in clinic and pay probably 3x's more than what I would have to Dr. Kim's office and that's perfectly fine with me. I'd rather give someone my business and my money who will treat me with respect than to that Dr. who clearly is only worried about billing someone and doesn't even have the common sense to not hang up (multiple times) on patients. I think Dr. Kim caters to those who speak his language (his English is not good) and maybe to the people he caters to he is different and shows more concern and is polite. I will not only never go here again but am calling my former insurance company and filing an official complaint and ask for his removal as an in network affiliate. I'll also research what medical board I can report him to as well. I want my complaints to be heard so that this man can better assist the people who entrust their care to him."

"DR. KIM HAS VISION PROBLEM, HEARING PROBLEM.MY DAD WAS THERE FOR MINOR SURGERY AND HE MADE IT INFECTED AND WE HAD TO HAVE TWICE. ALSO I WAS THERE TO GET THE DOCTOR'S NOTE FOR MY SCHOOL. AND I HAD NO PROBELM BUT JUST LIED TO HIM THAT I HAVE STOMACH SICK. HE LOOKED OVER ME AND SAID I GOT POISEND BY FOOD OR SOMETHING AND TOLD ME I HAVE TO HAVE REST FOR AT LEAST TWO WEEKS AND GAVE ME PERSCRIPTION..WT.F? AND I HAD NO PROBLEM AT ALL. I WENT HOME LAGHING ALL DAY. HE IS A FREAK."
