"I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Dr Richter, I would go to him again but his staff is horrendous. The billing department is incompetent. They participate in my insurance but failed to bill under correct tax id no. It is a year later and a ton of calls and still not correct. I paid my entire ded at the time of service and today, over a year later bill is still not refiled or correct. I will be filing a complaint with Cigna today and if I need to file with the insurance commission, I will be doing this too"

"This office is just bad! In all my 37 yrs of living I havr never encountered a doctors office like this; I honestly don’t know how they are able to survive with awful service. My insurance will be ending at the end of the month and I thank God that my new insurance has better providers. My first issue started when I had to wait two months to schedule an endoscopy. I went in to the office to fill out the paperwork and the person at the front was very very rude. She was so rude that I had to come back after I did my bloodwork just so she can know how rude she was. Then, the meds that they prescribed me for treatment needed prior authorization. The office never answered me and never tried to reach out to the insurance company. So I did not complete my antibiotic treatment which if anybody knows it’s very important to complete the antibiotic treatment in order to effectively clear bacteria. Dr. Richter‘s Medical assistant is very unprofessional and I wonder who trained her. Does anybody just walk off the street and becomes someone’s medical assistant not having any experience in customer care or medicine? The last straw was when I had my appointment today at 2:15 with Dr. Richter but nobody called me to let me know that he is at the hospital for a procedure and he will have to call me back. I had to call the office & wait on hold just saw his medical assistant to tell me that. they are complete trash! These guys these are real reviews and they are all negative for a reason. If you have an inkling, itching, or thinking about going to this office to receive treatment please think again and find another doctor. if not for your health, do it for your sanity."

"This has been one of the best doctor visits I have ever had, and I have had many. From the front desk clerk to the nursing staff to the anesthesiologist to Dr. Richter I was given top notch service! Every step of my procedure was given with clear instructions and comfort. They made sure I understood what would happen beforehand and even gave me dietary tips on how to make sure I stay in good health. Dr. Richter’s consultation online was very blunt and clear. He informed me on ways to combat my issue and it has truly helped. I appreciate La’Keia, Melissa, and John’s thorough and attentive care. I will recommend them with 10 stars! Very satisfied customer."

"It was a long wait (2 hours) to be seen, even with an appointment time. But once I was seen by the the nurse practitioner and doctor I felt they were very attentive and thorough in asking questions to understand my treatment and developed a complete strategy to diagnosis my symptoms. UPDATE: This office is so difficult to get a hold of. My insurance has sent 3 requests for medical records to process a claim. My insurance company asked me to help get ahold of them. Weeks ago I was told by the office staff the records would be sent. However, the insurance company has yet to receive the records. Trying to get a call back from the doctor's office seems nearly impossible. I have to keep calling until I get an answer."

"My first visit I waited 2 hours to see the doctor. The doctors assistant who performed a very personal exam stated that “ we didn’t have any problems because I did what I was told” - very unprofessional and borderline harassment pertaining to my body. I had a lower GI scope and waited at least an hour before seeing the doctor who was eating trail mix as I was rolled into the scope room. I sent off a stool test in the mail and heard NOTHING back for months, and when I called for my results over the phone I was cut off in the middle of my request by the receptionist, and was sent to multiple voicemails.The voicemail states that they will get back to you by the end of the day if your message is left before 3PM. I called at 8 am, and no call back on day 1. Day 2 I called first thing in the morning and again cut off several times by the receptionist who has zero patience or care for my concern and continued to send me to different voicemails. By 4PM on day 2 I still had no response, so I called and asked the receptionist to walk the phone to the doctors assistant, who was kind and listened to what I said but he PROMISED me that he would have someone call me back that night and indeed, no call. Day 3 I called at 8 AM and the same receptionist answered the phone finally giving me the time of day and apologetically promised that I would receive a call with my results ASAP. Around 11 AM I received a call from a doctor whom I had never met. He read me my results, and I asked for a hard copy to be emailed to me. He said “ yeah I’ll have the assistant do that” I asked if they had my correct email and all he said was “yeah “ hesitantly. I read off my correct email and I have yet to receive any thing from them. This practice is full of highly unprofessional, and rude staff members who make EMPTY promises and are horrible at communicating. This is not a pleasant place to be while experiencing an already exhausting and painful health condition."
