"Where do I start? Dr Garcia is amazing and her staff is pleasant and welcoming (which is important for transfering records, insurance issues, etc). As a graduate of Emory University I'm really skeptical of alot of doctor's so I wanted to choose a "specialist" as my Primary care physician because frankly, they do ALOT ALOT more work, at least from what I saw with my friends who went the Med school route. This is tough to find but Dr. Garcia went for Internal Medicine (one of the few specialties you can find in a PCP) but in addition she is a Gynecologist in her home country of Columbia. I was blown away when I saw all the diplomas of residency and graduation I saw on her wall. I wish I took a picture. You really should talk to her about it, she's done over 20 years of University research and study from what I added up. Undergrad + Medical School at Univ of Bogota (big deal), residency for GYN and fellowship then when she came to the USA she went BACK to Med School passed the board, then residency for Internal Medicine and Fellowship. She has more education than most surgeons and every single Primary Care Physician around. I take any feminine problem for my GF, mom, or anyone I know to her FIRST because getting a face-to-face with and Gynecologist usually take 8 weeks MINIMUM. Having her as your primary care doc will make the lives of your family better, especially if you have alot of women in the house. I will say frankly, she does not prescribe much scheduled medication. My mother is from Serbia so I'm familiar with other country's perspective on pain meds and the strongest opiod you can get prescribed in Spanish speaking countries is 50mg Codeine with diflonac (NSAID) which isn't even C2 schedule here. Oxycodone, Oxycontin, Roxy, etc doesn't even exist in most other countries this side of the Atlantic so the majority of her professional life she hasn't ever been able to prescribe it...... so she doesn't from what I can tell. This is a great thing because she is interested in solving the problem versus prescribing over the issue. I say because she will not write refills for my scheduled medication from my specialist when I can't see them in time. I think one time she made an exception and got me 5 days of meds to get me by until I could see the specialist. Lastly, she knows so much about hormones and how they can affect your body and treatments you are taking as she's a Gynecologist originally. When birth control is wreaking havoc and you're on anti-anxiety or anti depressant meds and ADD meds she's going to figure out which one is to blame and she is VERY VERY familiar with analyzing hormone panels and uses them, especially if you ask, to give a full picture of what's going on in your body. As a man I've learned more about testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, and what they do to your mind, bone density, mood than I ever thought. As a greater testament to how she is, I now live in Destin, Florida and travel to Atlanta to see her. She's that good. What she's done to help my mom, past girlfriends, and myself is nothing short of amazing. I hope this review resonates with you and at the bare minimum helps you analyze how you select your primary care physicians for your family and your friends. Remember there's no such thing as a Primary Care Physician with two specialties, two residencies, and two fellowships. She is the needle in the haystack. Blessings to you and yours and long live Dr. Garcia. I hope she doesn't retire she's a true blessing to us all. Even those who aren't treated by her."

"I’ve been coming to mediclinic for the last two years and I’ve always been treated very kind and fair ! Liz in particular is the sweetest and I personally like to deal with her as she has always made sure to take care of me from the time I walk in . How mediclinic operates if you don’t have an appointment then yes you have to wait as a walk in ! That is common sense but you know that walking through the door and you still get seen in an adequate time . I wouldn’t go anywhere else, and as Dr Garcia is great as well !"

"My insurance recently changed, so I had to switch doctors. I found Dr Garcia via my insurance's website and made an appointment to get my adderall prescription refilled. (You have to go once every three months.) Once I got inside the office, she informed me that she does not fill prescriptions for adderall. Then why make the appointment?! I was very clear what it was for. She the proceeded to quiz me on why I take it etc etc - I've already undergone testing by a psychologist! Just give me my prescription! She gave me ONE refill, instead of the standard THREE per doctors appointment. So I just paid $90 and will have to shell out that much again for another appointment next month due to THEIR incompetence?! Do yourself a favor and avoid this facility. They are unprofessional bloodsuckers who just want your money."
