"This place is rough all around. The office staff has some of the worst attitudes and the care I've received has been nonexistent and has put my health at risk. I wouldn't reccomend this place to my worst enemy. After 2 years, I'm looking for a new provider that doesn't miss the signs of prediabetes or blow off my concerns."

"Cannot recommend this practice at all. My elderly mother has been waiting to be referred to a neurosurgeon by this office for over 6 weeks (first of July). Finally spoke to a nurse on 8/4/2023, was promised a call back by 8/8 which never happened. I've left 2 subsequent messages with no response. They either don't care that she CAN'T WALK, are horribly understaffed, or completely unable to perform basic job functions. It does NOT take this long to schedule a consult with a specialist."

"Been a patient of CIM for 20 years. They are always able to see me the same day when I have an acute issue. My annual visit was extensive. My prescriptions are sent in correctly and to the right pharmacy. I recomment this place to my family and friends."

"So I highly don’t recommend Charleston Internal Medicine. I called today to get my husband an appt for his asthma meds and a general check up. His doctor recently had a baby and decided not to not come back to work full time and only work till 145. He works till 2pm. So I asked them to switch his provider and I was informed that they cannot do that. So I asked them if I was hearing them correct that he is not allowed to come back and they informed me, yes, that is what they were saying. So his choice was to choose between his doctor or his job because his assigned provider could not provide for him."

"My parents seem to like their doctor. However staff is completely unhelpful. My parents are transitioning to assisted living and need paperwork completed to be residents. I am trying to accomplish from out of state. I was asked to fax Power of Attorney paperwork, which I did, but they did not receive fax. After multiple calls and complaining, supervisor approved for me to email POA. I spoke to my parents while they were in the doctors office and asked the staff to ask my parents to sign medical release papers. My parents have cognitive issues and need help with everything. The staff refused to ask my parents to sign medical release papers. I told staff my parents could say no, but could they please ask. Unwilling to assist with accessing medical records for my parents to get the care they need and deserve. Awful, Awful, Awful !"
