"I have been taking my children to Kids Avenue since my son was nine years old. My son is now 32. I have never had an issue until recently. I have a daughter who is 17 and Dr, Arrington has been her only physician. Last year my daughter needed a specialist and Dr. Arrington referred me to Grady Hospital, but because of wording the referral was not acceptable to Grady Hospital. After several attempts of trying to get the referral worded properly from the young lady at Dr. Arrington Office I just gave up calling her office. Recently after a year I attempted to get a outside referral to and specialist that I found. On April 13, we had a Doctor appointment with Kids Avenue, and I submitted my referral. I received a referral from Dr. Arrington from a specialist and that referral was from their network for another issue. I immediately got a call from their Specialist in their network. I never got the outside referral that I submitted. I called the office and spoke to the lady that sits at the front desk and ask her about the referral I submitted. She stated that the fax number was busy and she could not submit the fax. I ask her did their office take out of network referrals, and she yes. I asked her if I could come and pick it up myself. I was told she would have to ask for permission. I then ask to speak for the office manager, and she stated that the office manager was not in. This conversation occurred this past Friday. On Monday May 30, I decided to try again and call the office same issue. Sad to say because the staff member is a liar the office manager refused to return my call; I decided to cancel all upcoming appointments. I have been a parent of children that was under Dr. Arrington’s care for over 30 years. I really loved and admired Dr. Arrington, but if her staff has no problem lying to me and if Dr. Arrington stands behind her staffing knowing that their a not being honest then I question her integrity and so should you."

"Dr Arrington is Awesome!!! The lady at the front desk is rude! Very Rude! She doesn't care about your concerns at all. I will be finding my child another Dr. This is becoming repetitive and stressful."

"Dr. Gertrude Arrington MD is the best, hands-down. I am just writing this review because 10 years ago, I never thought to write reviews. As a baby, I took my son to other doctors while they could not see the problem. As soon as I took my son to Dr. Gertrude Arrington, she instantly knew the issue. She really knows her work. I am just writing this review because I was looking for an eye doctor for myself. I then remembered the wonderful experience I had with my son's visit with Dr. Gertrude Arrington. I had hopes of being seen by Dr. Gertrude but realize that she only sees children patients. It has been 10 years and my son is still doing great and I still remember Dr. Arrington MD. What an amazing African American, doctor and woman! Thank you for being the best Dr. Gertrude Arrington MD and I hope that you read this message someday."
