Reviews
"Diagnosed with stage 3a non small cell carcinoma 12/2016. Went to 3 places to choose a medical team. Hands down Dr Ramalingam and his team saved my life. It's 3/2019 I've been cancer free since 10/2017. It’s more now 10/2023 I’m limited due to treatment AND still alive, give me five, ain’t no luck"
"Dr. Ramalingham is my dad’s doctor. We are so happy he went for a second opinion and found him. They are so professional at Emory and his team is amazing. I would highly recommend him for your lung cancer treatment."
"I did not like this doctor because he did not help."
"My father was a patient of doctor Ramalingam. This doctor kept telling my father that his lung cancer was stabile with the chemo pill medicine, even though the cancer had spread to his adrenal kidney gland. My father and mother told this doctor that my dad has had his hand shake uncontrollably a couple of times(this is called a suizure) with his hand shaking. This doctor said that this is nothing to worry about, and that he will not change the treatment eventhough the condition is getting worse, he considered this spreading stabile! This stabile excuse was what we heard from the doctor on most of the appointments even though my mother kept telling the doctor that my father's condition is getting worse. Approximately a month after one of these last appointments with Dr. Ramalingam who said again everything is stabile and got agitated when my mom told him she thought otherwise. My father had a stronger seizure and we were at the ER and a regular doctor who saw my dad for the first time without doing any tests, said that this seizure is not a stroke because the symptoms are temporary and this has to be from the cancer spreading and it has to be in the brain area for these seizures to keep happening! I mean this was so easy for this ER doctor who was clearly very knowledgeable and listened to what my dad's symptoms were. Dr. Ramalingam never told us that about these symptoms and did not have a clue about this or did not care to listen or help and was falsely saying everything is stabile without properly ordering the necessary scans. He failed to diagnose this. The ER doctor was correct and knew much less about my dad. After my dad had a brain scan at the ER and had 15 tumors in his brain. I called doctor Ramalingam's office and told them this and asked for a call back from Dr. Ram at Emory Oncology. He did not call me back after days passing. I called again and was very angry and then he called me back and offered no help, my dad's appointment with him was approximately a month out and he just said I'll see you then. I was shocked from this experience. My family feels that doctor Dr. Suresh S. Ramalingam MD, really let our family down and did not put the time or effort and lacked knowledge and passion to help and properly test, failed to give my dad brain scans and locate the brain cancer. He was under this doctor's care and was told the cancer is stabile and a month after found out he had 15 tumors in the brain. This is very sad, I am surprised that people like this are doctors or teach other younger doctors and that another doctor who is not even an oncologist was able to tell us what is going on from a 3 minute conversation. And this doctor was clueless and not helpful to my family. We had a terrible experience and I am not one of the people to write complaints but this touches my heart and I pray that Emory and hospital's here find better and more responsible and knowledgeable doctors who can actually help and manage cancer instead of saying everything is stabile and then less than a month after 15 cancerous tumors are controlling my fathers brain and we called him multiple times and only received a phone call back after complaining on the phone. Then when getting a call back, the solution was to come to the already scheduled appointment which was a month away! No urgency or will to help was given to my father from Dr. Ram. My veterinarian is much more helpful to my dogs! Then Dr. Ram was to my father. I write this with honesty and respect, but my dad was treated very unfairly and unprofessionally. Now everything is so stabile that my dad is on Hospice care with maybe hours or less than a week left to live. May God Bless all of the cancer patients in the world and may God help you beat this disease. I just want to write this review because it is true and for you to find the right help. My mom is crying now and wants this doctor in jail or sued for this, but we do not have the energy or time to do all that. So I am hoping this review will reach people and maybe help someone. God Bless."
