"The absolute best Radiation team! The office is not fancy but it is clean. A day did not go by when I did not see custodial staff in the office cleaning. The other staff is also very meticulous when it comes to sanitizing everything in the radiation room after/before each patient. I appreciated having a check in card to scan upon arrival and a code to park for free. I had 32 treatments and there was only one time that I had to wait more than 10 minutes past my appt time. The staff at this location is absolutely amazing. It is the first time I have felt truly heard by all personnel at a doctors office. The radiation therapist: Jasmine, K-Everlasting (I do not know how to spell Kays name but I do know that it means “everlasting”), and Nicole are PHENOMENAL! The three ladies made every single day of radiation treatment enjoyable. Their positive presence is such a calming force. I observed that they were not kind to only me. They gave loving care to each and every one of their patients. Together these three women make a dynamic team. When I laid on that table each end every day, I knew I was in good hands. They monitored the scans and picked up on even the slightest changes. They NEVER guessed at anything. If there was something that looked off or different they did not hesitate to call in a doctor. The schedule did not control them. Patient care trumped everything! They patiently helped elderly patients on and off the table, they worked together to assist patients that were in wheelchairs, they would even come outside to help patients in and out of cars. If I was cold, they would cover me with warmed blankets without me having to request it. They would take the time to heat up various medical equipment before laying it on my body. These confident young ladies are experts in the radiation profession. This combined with their kind, fun, and compassionate nature, is a winning combination for all patients that they care for. In the begging of my review, I mentioned the point about “being heard”. Dr. Xu and her team are by far the best medical practice when it comes to listening. They ALL genuinely care about how the patients are feeling. If I am hurting, they hear me. If I’m fatigued, they hear me. If I am feeling down they hear me. If I am in a joyous mood, they hear me. I have never once felt dismissed by anyone at this office. Every concern was taken seriously. Every concern was addressed. Dr. Xu would often remind me that I could ask to see her ANY time I’m in the office and I did not have to wait until my routine Monday check in. She said this and meant it! One of the things that is so amazing about Dr. Xu is that she does her best to see things from the perspective of the patient. She provides very detailed research based medical information and then patiently listens to the patient as they talk through all the options as it pertains to their lives. She never tried to pressure me into doing anything that I did not want to do. She made sure that I had all the information I needed to make an educated decision about my treatment. Wellstar is blessed to have this entire team. Yesterday was my last treatment. And although I’m extremely tired, and my skin has yet to fully heal, I have no regrets about making the decision to do radiation for the 2nd time to the same area simply because I know I received the best care possible; both physical care and emotional care. Way to go WellStar Cobb Radiation. Thank you for doing an outstanding job taking care of the whole me. If you are in need of radiation, this is the place to go!"

"Patients need to be aware that they will be double charged. Saw the Doctor and was referred to a closer facility in our area. Which was a nice thing to do. When the bills arrive we were charged for an office visit and a treatment room. This to me seems to be double billing and we called only to be told we should have read the signs on the wall. One would think an office visit would come with a room."
