"Frustrated to say the least. Had both my children seen in October. There was no parking available but I figured it out. Reception was polite but we did have tons of paperwork to fill out. If I had known we were going to be there for 4 hours over lunch I would have packed my kids snacks. Finally we were seen and the evaluation was ok. Doctor was a bit rude but I assumed he wanted to see if I was quick to react negatively so he can help my child so I brushed it off. He finished the evaluation in a small room on a computer (he’s 17). We left and immediately went to grab food. I was so happy to know soon he can get the help he’s needing. Similar experience with my 8 year old the following week but I was prepared. I was told my 17 year old was given the incorrect paper to fill out so I filled it out when I returned with my 8 year old. 100 some odd questions. Went on vacation so the reports were back of mind. It’s now December 15 and I’ve been calling and calling for my reports only to be told they are working it out with insurance. I paid the co payment both visits and these appointments were scheduled months in a advance but I still gave them grace but side note I work for the insurance company and have offered my assistance to help fix the issue whatever that might be… but still keep getting the run around. These reports were necessary for my children to get what they need so the fact that I still don’t have them well beyond the 4 weeks promised is unacceptable! I do not recommend this place at all if you need your child’s evaluation for a 504 plan or any form of assistance because that is not their concern. Your may never see your report and if you don’t call to follow up it’s like the visit never happened. Smh"

"All around great company from the Admin to the Therapist. Very beneficial to our family. The Partners of Discovery are outstanding individuals. They make a great Team and you can tell by the success from their growth. God's annointing is all over this company...."

"First off, we left 20 minutes early in order to allow time to find the building. The address listed is 420 Thomaston St., but the building is located at 420 Main St. We tried calling to locate the correct location, but no one would answer the phone, so we stopped at the local sherriff’s station and they were able to direct us to the correct building. We still managed to arrive 10 minutes early and no one was at the office. We waited until 5 minutes after our appointment was scheduled to start and knocked on the door. At this point the receptionist came and unlocked the door and allowed us into the lobby. While waiting in the lobby, the Sharpsburg office returned my call to make sure we had found the building. The Sharpsburg office has always been wonderful to us. Back at the Zebulon office we joked about the trash (half drank Coek bottle) on the bookshelf in the lobby while we continued waiting. The doctor was not on time for my son’s appointment. He didn’t arrive until 20 minutes after my son’s appointment was supposed to start. In the meantime, the receptionist brought a computer to my son and had him start his “test” in the lobby of the building. After the doctor arrived, he did not speak a word to me, but instead, my son was ushered into another room by the receptionist. We have been to other practices where our time was not valued and it does not start any appointment off on the right foot. It gives the impression that simply because the doctor has a doctorate, they feel they are more important than you, which is the direct opposite of any feeling I want my child to have, especially when going to a counselor’s office."
