"Dr Rao provided client centered and compassionate care for my myomectomy. She is truly gifted as a physician. Both her and her team were amazing. I’m deeply grateful for their clinical care and guidance."
"This post is to help others whom are worried about their fibroid surgery. Dr. Rao is an exceptional minimally invasive robotic surgeon. I was genuinely terrified as I had never had surgery before; not to mention all the horror stories I read online. But she and the nurses helped me feel at ease. I remember being wheeled into surgery and woke up in the recovery room. The abdominal pain felt like period cramps and it was hard to walk for the first week and a half, hunched back and all. Then slowly by week 2 I was able to walk straight, and by week 3 I felt 90% normal. I am so grateful for the efficiency of her and the Northside team."
"I saw Dr. Rao for an annual exam and it was the worst I have ever experienced. She was rude, demeaning, dismissive of my concerns and questions, and actually made fun of me. She acted as though she was disgusted by me- all while I sat there barely covered by the paper product that was provided for modesty. While her nurse was very thorough, the Dr. had barely consulted with the nurse nor reviewed my information. She was not in the exam room long enough to be thorough at all. I have never been so embarrassed! While in the waiting room, it appeared that reception staff is responsible for not only scheduling all the surgery but also informing the patients they must have surgery. I heard a number of serious diagnosis of other patients as they were announced to the entire room. I cannot imagine how difficult it must be for these ladies to hear they must have significant surgery for the first time in a crowded waiting room - not to mention the HIPA violations! All around horrible experience!"
