Reviews
"Dr. Crochet is the reason I go to Emory. I have seen her for over 7 years and have had multiple IUDs placed/removed. She also oversaw my first pregnancy. Can’t recommend enough!"
"In 2020 I went in to see Stacia for removal of an IUD and insertion of a new IUD. I am writing this review 2.5 years later because it has taken me this long to even consider going back to see a physician after my experience. I will preface what I say by noting that this was my third IUD insertion. I took 2 Motrin right before my appointment and came in during my period just as I had with my two prior procedures. During the procedure, Stacia put me through excruciating pain. I presume she has no clue how to clamp a cervix. She kept insisting that this pain was normal and continued with the procedures as I laid and cried in pain. As someone who had this procedure done twice before, I assured her that it was not normal but Stacia just doubled down. I was in pain for days after this appointment. I called Emory multiple times about the pain and everyone just insisted that being in such excruciating pain is normal. This is not normal. I only had mild cramping that did not go beyond the day of the procedure after my first two insertions. I would never recommend Stacia as a medical provider. I don't recommend providers who gaslight their patients. I wouldn't recommend Emory since they also gaslight their patients and seemingly condone this behavior."
"Dr Stacia Crochet has racially discriminated against me. Because I am a woman of color, she did not prescribe pain meds needed for the operation she was to perform. I am so surprised to see another patient with a similar review as mine. Dr Stacia Crochet also pretended as if she was to operate on me when in actuality it was her resident. Neither one of them advised of her residents residency status. I’d highly recommend NOT seeing Dr Crochet if you are going to be seen at Emory. Dr Catherine Li is fabulous! You know the deal, you can only submit a review if you have at least 1 star. She deserves no star in reality. She is a horrible doctor."
"Back in 2015 or’16 she talked me into getting an IUD. She told me it didn’t have hormones and I wouldn’t be painful. She lied! As a woman I would expect for her to realize that the procedure is the most painful thing you can experience other than childbirth. At the end of procedure they refused to offer me pain meds and had to leave the hospital in agony as I struggled to get to my car."
