"This will be long but worth the read! I have seen Ashley a few times and have ALWAYS bragged on her to other people. Until now. I was referred to this office from my PCP for bladder pain/ pelvic pain. I went to therapy for 2 years. Went to Ashley because the pain is still bad. She did an ultrasound and called and said everything looks good but she’d like to keep my appointment and me come back. I expressed to her over the phone that drs in the past have suspected Endometriosis and if she thinks it could be that. She let me know it could be hundreds of things but if the diagnostic surgery was something I was interested in we can talk about it at my next visit.i was hopeful to finally get answers. I go to the appointment to be asked by two nurses why I’m there. They said I was there only for an anaul papsmear that I’ve always refused. I then HEARD Ashely outside in the hall in a smart tone saying even though I’m 22 she recommends it and said Sorry in a rude tone. the nurse then comes in to let me know that Ashley had told me not to come back but to go to my PCP that my ultrasound was good. Yet on the phone I was told to come back and she would help me figure this out. Was then told by the nurse that there’s no point coming back in the office until I’m comfortable for a papsmear. I let her know i had pelvic pain for nearly 10 years now and was hoping Ashley was going to help me find answers to be told this place isn’t where you come for pelvic pain??? My mouth dropped! Where do I go then?? I was told I could wait and Ashley would come talk to me , but I did not stay. On the phone I was told to come back and talk about hopefully finding answers , upon arriving I was told she told me not to come back. So I kept an appointment for two months ONLY for a test I always refuse?? Ya okay!"

"As other reviews have mentioned, the nurses here suck. Natasha, the nurse that got me ready for my appointment was SO RUDE. Rolling your eyes and being condescending is such a weird choice for someone in the healthcare field… And doing this after I say I’m bisexual… it’s giving homophobia babe! Natasha was asking me all these questions while taking my blood pressure. You aren’t supposed to talk while having your blood pressure taken and any competent nurse should know that. When I asked her if I should be talking while getting my blood pressure taken she rolled her eyes and was so rude (like she was the entire time I spoke to her) telling me yes you can talk during this. I would encourage Natasha to brush up on her general healthcare knowledge and CDC guidelines which state that talking while having this done can lead to inaccurate readings. I have been coming here for my annual visit for the past 3 years but I will not be returning due to how rude Natasha was to me. The lady at the front desk also acted annoyed when I had questions and acted like updating my insurance info was moving a mountain. I was on time for my appointment and there was no one else in the office when I arrived so her lack of patience was so annoying. Like I’m so sorry you have to type in some extra numbers and letters on the computer ): your job is so hard!! Updating my insurance also apparently caused them to not call me back until 30 minutes after my appointment was scheduled. I understand updating my insurance may take a bit longer but 30 minutes is a little excessive. The front desk employee was nice when I was leaving so not sure why she was rude/impatient with me when I first came in. Parking was $3 with their 50% validation. I was so happy to find a great doctor when I first moved to Atlanta in 2019. Abigail was honestly the best physician I have ever seen. When I heard she was no longer with the practice I was sad but figured I would give another one of their staff members a try. Ashley, the PA I saw this time, was nice enough, but definitely not as thorough as Abigail. If the front desk and nurse staff had been even just generally pleasant I would not have made the decision to stop coming here. The front desk and nurses have never been that great but I continued coming because Abigail was exceptional. Not anymore. Not worth having my morning ruined!"

"I've had two visits with Dr. Metcalfe for not-routine concerns. She's very knowledgable but approachable. She really met me where I was at an explained things in a way I could understand. The team of MA's is always very efficient and welcoming. They do a lot to make you feel comfortable. Both appointments started on time."

"I came in as a new patient for my first annual visit today at the recommendation of a close friend of mine. The woman at the front desk was lovely; she checked me in and out quickly, answered all my questions and was very pleasant to speak with. I wasn’t in the waiting room for long, which I was happy about. Abigail was AMAZING. She made me feel so comfortable and reassured, and I really appreciate her taking the time to explain things thoroughly and make sure I felt at ease throughout my time with her. I’m already looking forward to coming back to see her in a year! My only complaint is with the nurse who worked with me. She was very impersonal and seemed to be in a rush. She asked me questions and gave me instructions very quickly and seemed like she was urgent to leave the room. I’m not sure she ever even made eye contact with me. I understand she’s just doing her job, but I would have appreciated a bit more professionalism. That being said, I cannot recommend Abigail enough! She really is the ideal image of a great healthcare provider."
