"Office staff in wonderful but Dr. Roberts needs to be re-educated. I was told my previous OB was retiring which lead me to find another OB. The appointments I had with Roberts was very quick and I don’t feel like he listened to me and if he did say something it was always a joke or sarcasm which I could handle but just annoying. Fast forward.. I had my scheduled c section on 3/28 (note: it was an uncomplicated pregnancy, just a repeat) I got discharged 2 days later. I was only home for maybe 2 nights before going to the ER at erlanger east. ( i delivered at Parkridge) Erlanger east wanted to admit me but bc I was pp the OB team there didn’t want to keep me. I was having pain in my lower back, right upper belly pain, massive headache and high blood pressure. They sent me home after giving me pain meds and the next day I ended up going back to Parkridge with the same symptoms. They then said it was my gallbladder and admitted me. The next day Roberts came in (1st and last time he saw me) and said yup it’s your gallbladder and pushed me off on surgeons. Luckily the surgeon didn’t feel comfortable doing surgery since I was so fresh pp and my kidney function was so bad. After spending SIX days there I got discharged with no answers and 2 days later I was at Erlanger downtown chatt where they FINALLY diagnosed me with postpartum preeclampsia and got proper treatment. Ladies, listen to your body bc these doctors are educated enough apparently."

He delivered all 3 of my children and as of 2 years ago, he delivered my 1st grandchild and fixing to deliver a second one!I My daughter and I both drive 1 hour and 15 minutes one way from Henagar AL, to our appointments at his Ooltewah office. I have never trusted a Dr other than Matthew Roberts with my feminine health and well being, as well as childbirth! Dr Robert's, makes sure you understand everything and you always feel like family! I am proud to say he has always been my Dr! We joke and tell everyone that we grew up together, basically we did! He had just started his practice and I had just started a family"

"He will be delivering my 4th child as he has already delivered 2 of 3. I love Dr. Roberts you couldn't put a price on him. His sense of humor could make anyone feel welcome. Every one of his nurse's, tech's, down to the front desk make you feel like family and they truly care about their patients. There's not enough ways to say thank you to every one of them."
