"Absolutely amazing doctor!! We drove about an hour and here’s why. The staff is excellent and caring. The doctor is very personable, highly professional and intelligent on the matter of GI Care. He didn’t rush us. In fact, he not only took his time to explain things, but he also put my 11 year old at ease. He was very nervous so he asked alot of his own questions and Dr. Ali was very patient. He ordered some work to be done and honestly, I’m blown away by the care of this GI office staff because they called and scheduled the ultrasound, bloodwork, and other things on for the same day. I’ve never experienced such a great staff like these women. I’m very grateful."
"The doctor told me that my child needed an EGD and that the office would call to schedule that. Two weeks later I call to see why I haven’t been called. Turns out that the doctor hasn’t put the orders in yet. So the office staff schedules the EGD and emails me the paper work with the date and pre-op procedures. The EGD is scheduled for two months out. The weekend before the procedure, I review the paper work which states that Piedmont will call me to schedule a Covid test. Since Piedmont didn’t call I assumed something is wrong so I call the gastroenterologist office first thing Monday morning. The receptionist says she will call Piedmont and call me back once she figures out the problem. This was at 8:30. At noon I finally call Piedmont. I am told by the nurse there that no one is on their schedule from his office and no one has called from his office. I am then advised that I should probably seek medical treatment for my daughter elsewhere. The gastro office still has not contacted me. Her procedure was supposed to be this morning. They didn’t even have the decency to call me back to let me know they messed up. I will not take my child back."
"So far I have been waiting for my daughter to be seen for 35 minutes now. The person who last signed in, missed there appt at 1:30 which they thought was at 2:30. So now because they came late and ARE STILL BEING SEEN, my wait is longer then what it should be. The front lady is nice but asks me if I wanted to reschedule In the nicest (rudest) way. I wasn’t born yesterday lady. Will wait it out since I got my daughter out of school early for this. Would not recommend this place. I should have looked at the reviews beforehand."
"If I could post a comment without stars I would… I honestly don’t know how good the doctor is because I didn’t make it that far. My child’s MD has been faxing this office for over a month to schedule my daughter an appointment and every time I call to verify they claim to not receive anything. After about 5 back and forth phone calls b/t them and my MD I went and got a copy of the “referral”,that isn’t required by her insurance to be seen, took it up there tried to get her established and the front desk refused to make an appointment. Literally said “we are doing something else right now”. Another lady tried to help me and she would not let her help. With all that said I reached out to my MD and asked for another recommendation. Based on previous reviews I’ve seen I should have done that from the beginning. Don’t waste your time!!!"
"When actually dealing with the doctor and staff, they are great. The Dr. is knowledgeable and very kind. Problem: I can't get this guy to approve refills for the prescription that HE wants to keep my daughter on. Last time took me 5 entire days of calls to finally get him to call in the refill. The prescription is needing refilled again, and I'm now on day 3 of calling trying to get him to do a refill. He has yet to respond to even the pharmacy to do a refill. I'm not asking him to do anything other than just approve a refill. This is past the point of ridiculous."
