"I'll start by saying there is not a bad item on the menu. However, the ribs are exceptional! There is not another place I know of that does ribs like Bumpa's. They treat them like wings, frying and tossing them in the sauce of your choice. My favorite is gold BBQ. Add to that the fried brussel sprouts and you have a VERY unique meal. As I said, there is nothing bad on the menu. That said, the service is hit or miss. We have sat the entire meal with no refills offered. Be prepared to flag down another server if you need anything. Some are great, others are just there. I've had servers give small talk, providing recommendations. Last time, other servers brought our meals, gave us refills and cleaned off our table. When our assigned server finally showed up, we had to remind her we needed the check. Anyway, I go there for the food, not the service. Oh, and don't sit in the booths, sit at the tables. The booths are rarely clean. Again, it's about the food."

"Absolutely pathetic! It’s too bad, because the place is cool, outdoor seating, a selection of football on several TVs. But the service could not have been worse! If it hadn’t been for one guy behind the bar named Cody, I would’ve gotten up and left. Sees like all the guys behind the bar were too concerned with talking to the girls around them and taking my order. I will not be returning."

"I ordered the bbq ribs. After sitting there for nearly 30 minutes, the waiter comes out to say there are no more ribs for the lunch shift, they are now preparing for the dinner shift only. But the waiter did recommend another dish, but it didn't measure up to what I had ordered. I can say the Bumpas Rolls are delicious."

"This was an especially great lunch. I had the Cheddar Bacon Ranch Burger on gluten-free bun. They were able to handle our office lunch order with ease. Coworker said customer service was excellent. And if you don't already know this, They are owned by the same gentleman that owns Gordos."
