Big Blue Marble Academy Ola

"**Warning, long review* I don’t know how they have 4+ stars but this school is dirty. When we came in for a tour, it smelled like bleach, and it seemed like they were keeping it clean but we never actually went in the classroom. My daughter was there for two days, day 2 she got scratched in the face so when they called (Which I did appreciate ) I decided to sit in there for a couple hours to observe, and I was so not pleased. The first day I drop my daughter off all the kids in the room had snot on their nose and dry green boogies the second day same thing. Both days we called to have someone make sure that their faces got wiped. The first day I picked up my daughter she was waiting for me in a different classroom with food all over her face no telling how long it was there so I brought her a rag the next day and asked them to make sure they wipe her face so the second day when I picked her up, her face was clean, but all the other kids faces were dirty. The teacher that I thought was pretty good, did eventually wipe their faces while I was there. I played with some of the kids and my daughter and noticed literally all the toys were old and dirty. The floors were dirty the rug was dirty. My daughter sippy cup was the only one labeled and they all looked alike just a couple different colors so needless to say the kids were sharing cups, and not to mention my daughter got sick, and was throwing up and had diarrhea the very next day And has a cough and nasal congestion still. I couldn’t send my baby back there. It’s been a week and nobody from the daycare called to even check if she was coming back and if she was OK. Also, they shouldn’t have been accepting 1 year olds in the first place because the rooms are full there was 14 kids a 2 teachers. We were told during the tour that they combined the 2 1-year-old classrooms, and that they would be separated before she started, but they were not. Towards the end of the day another teacher brought in 2 two-year-olds. On day one there was three teachers in the room that morning but on the second day, there was only two and one of them was different than yesterday, so seems like they move teachers around I saw the teacher that was missing in a different class. There was also no teaching or interacting going on for the two hours I was there (2:30-4:30pm) and they didn’t follow the schedule that they had up on the wall. They have potential, but need more teachers, to clean up more often and sanitize and get new toys for a start. Also stop accepting kids if the class is full it’s giving money hungry.."

"Our daughter has been going to BBMA Ola for almost 3 years now & we love it! She’s loved every teacher she’s ever had & has so much with her friends in each class. The staff is very communicative & we love that the check out process is very secure for her. They call every time someone that’s not me or her dad is checking her out & we love that!"

"My 2 year old has never been to daycare before so we searched and searched. Then we found BBM. So far i have been satisfied with this place. The staff is so nice. I love Ms Danielle and Ms Shelby. All the staff is wonderful. They all know my son's name and greet him when they see him. It has been a great experience so far."

"All 3 of my girls attend BBM Ola and have been for the past few years. My youngest is in the 3 year old room and loves her teacher. My older 2 are in the before and after program. My girls are a lot to handle sometimes and the teachers are patient and kind and you can tell they enjoy working with the kids. Shelby is also great to work with as well! My girls will be attending until they age out."

"Both of my children have been attending this daycare since they were a toddler/newborn and I wouldn't want anyone else looking after my kids. They are communicative and have the best interests for my kids. I hope anyone looking for child care looks into this facility and finds caring teachers like I did."
