"I participated in this schools 2019 PTA fundraiser and paid the required amount for the product I ordered. Not only did I not receive the product ordered. I have been trying for 3 months to get a refund. I spoke with the current PTA president who promised to contact me with a resolution after their board meeting in January but did not receive a response. I’ve sent the President several emails, called the school several times and even sent an email to the Principal with no response or acknowledgement. While the amount may not be substantial to them, it was money I gave in good faith. How can we instill honesty and integrity in our children when we as adults do not keep our word? Buyers Be aware!"

"IF YOUR CHILD IS IN SPECIAL NEEDS!!!!! LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!! THEY BEAT. KIDS!! They are very sneaky!!!!!! If I could give this school an 0 I would!!! Absolutely NO respect for the public at all! The old black grumpy lady in the front office has a VERY disrespectful attitude!! She talks to parents as if she runs the school herself! WRONG SCHOOL!!!! WRONG TURN!!!!!! IF YOU CAN GET YOUR CHILD INTO ANOTHER SCHOOL PLEASE BY ALLL MEANS GO FOR IT!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!!! Mrs Hutchison is NOT HAPPY with her job AT ALL I’m guessing! VERY VERY VERY DISRESPECTFUL!!!!!!"

"In 4th grade, my child was targeted by a teacher that goes by the name "Mrs.Holloway". It caused him so much stress to the point where he refused to go to school. We weren't aware of this at first but when we took him to the doctors because of his "stomach ache". They revealed that nothing was wrong with him and that it was nothing but stress. We scheduled a conference with the teacher but sadly we didn't take our child with us. If we did, we could have pin-pointed the teacher causing his stress. I would not recommend this school."

"Oak View is a great school when there is evidence of parental involvement in the school. Students are held accountable for their actions when they know their parents will be there to assist them and their teachers. The teachers are dedicated and work hard to make sure every child is successful. It begins with positive parental support from home, in which, carries on into the school setting. So on that note, I know my children and I know what my children are capable of doing when I am not around. So, I make sure I sit them down at home first and have a conversation about my school's expectations for them. This helps them to think about what type of day or days they would like to have to become successful and productive citizens."

"If I could give a negative score I would this is the worse school ever.My kids have been at this school for 8 months a since day 1 I have had horrible encounters.I have a 2 nd grader,a 4th grader,and a 5 th grader and not one great thing to say .The 5 th grade teachers are a joke the front office a joke, the 5 th grade principal a joke. The kids act like they are in the Army they fight the teachers ,each other they just angry and no one cares. Don't b suprise if you hear about this school on the news one day smh people need to do better with our youth.oh yea teachers curse students,hit students it's just horrible .I'm at the school almost everyday for non sense but this is the final straw I'm over it."
