"I was a former employee here last year and it was HORRIBLE. Ever since Felicia has taken over it has been the worst experience in any field of work I’ve done. She would constantly degrade her employees that weren’t her favorites or her best friends and was consistently rude to parents. I first started out in the 1 year old room and it wasn’t great but also wasn’t terrible. I was by myself with 8 children (which is in ratio) and when I would need a bathroom break, she or the assistant director would RARELY relieve me or they would tell me they asked someone else to do it… when they NEVER DID. When I needed help, there was no help given whatsoever. When I was promoted to assistant pre-k teacher, all hell broke loose. She suddenly had a different change in mind towards me for no reason. She acted like I had no idea what I was doing and would constantly degrade me and made sure I felt worthless and like I couldn’t do my job. She has yelled in my face in front of other children, employees, and PARENTS. I would help out every now and then in the 3 year old room and it was utter chaos. Kids constantly screaming and hitting each other and the teachers. When Felicia would go into the room all she did was yell at them. Also, since the school is quality rated there are specific things they look for in order to get 3 stars. When they came she blatantly lied to the quality rated people and put 4 year olds with the 3 year olds and removed the “problem” children into the pre k classrooms so it looked like the daycare classes were very well behaved. There was one specific child that gave us issues in the classroom and he would constantly run out of the classroom, hit, kick, punch, BITE, spit, and completely destroy the classroom. The few times she would come and “help” us is to just sit there and yell at me to grab him before he ran out of the room when it stated in the policy we are not allowed to touch the children in the pre k classroom. Also, HE WAS NOT POTTY TRAINED. So, when he did run out of the room she chased after me and yelled at me directly in my face for “not doing my job and that I’m supposed to grab him” in front of other coworkers. Not to mention that child bit the other teacher in the classroom so severely to the point she was dripping blood. The day after it happened it got very infected and she had to go to urgent care and the director did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING except “suspend him” for 1 day. The new district manager also did absolutely nothing about this as well as the head of pre k. These people don’t care what happens to their employees. I also got written up for removing that same child out of the classroom to try and calm him down from kicking, punching, and spitting on other children while they were trying to learn and also get away from him. This happened multiple times throughout my employment there. The kids were so terrified of this child and the other parents were furious at felicia for not doing anything about it that 3 parents pulled their child from the classroom. The amount of parental complaints that were straight neglected were astounding to me. Also, parents have called corporate on this specific child and they did NOTHING except tell us to remove him from the situation. And when we tried to move him away from the situation it would turn into him screaming at the top of his lungs, spitting at me, kicking and punching me so hard that I have had multiple bruises and scratches on me. All Felicia had to do was turn him away from here to keep other children and staff safe, but because the parent had a “sob story” about her child being kicked out of 5 OTHER DAYCARES she felt bad and accepted him into pre-k no matter how unsafe it was for anyone. There were so many other things that happened here as well I could wrote a book about it. All I can say now is NEVER WORK HERE. And parents, NEVER send your child here unless you also want your child to be screamed at by felicia. This company is a JOKE as well as the people running any of the other locations. Do not waste your time coming to this literal hell."
"If I could give them a zero I would. This is the worst daycare I survive heard work at or seen. The children are out of hand and do not know how to behave all. They spit, curse, and hit whoever and it is not okay. I was only there for barely a week at saw things I have never seen working with children. On my first day I was called the b word by a little boy and punched in my belly when I am pregnant. The director doesn’t know how to communicate and she didn’t handle the situations proper at all. they are under staff and couldn’t communicate that at all and they do not pay well at all. I had communication with the director on multiple occasions about the problem and she made it seem like it was my fault or like that’s just how it is.The director is a lair and do not know how to handle the kids in her facility at all. She made is seem like I was the reason the kids act up. If I only been there for barely a week how is it my fault, if I’m being told before I got there they were asking up and peeing on the playground. Felicia doesn’t know how to take accountability for her establishment and get them kids under control. I think she just cares more about the money they get from the parent and not the actual safety of the kids who have to deal with the other kids hit and doing other stuff. She wanted to blame me for other pregnant staff leaving but it had nothing to do with me nobody would want to work their . They do it because they need the money but at some point your mental and physical health is more important. I understand that kids will be kids and act up at times but the school is out of line. It’s dirty as hell in there and they have an ant infestation. I came in to work today and within a hour of me being there I was spit at and hit at and had toys and shoes thrown at me. The kids destroyed the room and I didn’t have the energy to pick up after them after dealing with the kids that wanted to jump off of furniture and they had a problem with that. If the kids are old enough to destroy the room they can pick it up. I will not be pick up after the kids destroy the room when the 2 year olds can pick up after them self. I was put ins room with another pregnant person and they expects us to chase after them and we just could do it. The class was already combined with 3 and 4 years old which is unexpected-able. If you know that your hired someone who pregnant and has hip arthritis why would you expect for them to pick these big kids up and chase after them. I didn’t the best I could that school is just out of control and I would have your child there.I was put in the infant room where two children had hand foot and mouth disease and was not made aware until it was to late. The other parent was not Maude aware of this problem which can be very fatal and deadly. I asked to come to the urgent care to make sure my child was ok because I had been in the class for two days and they wanted me to wait because they didn’t have the staff, so me and my child was out at risk because of their negligence. There is a lot more that I could say but this is long enough. I hope whoever reads this really consider before having there kid go here or work here."
"We love Childcare Network Villa Rica. We have used other daycares in the area as a foster family and with our own child and Childcare Network is a great daycare. The director, Felecia Fisher, truly cares about her staff and the children. The staff is also really great with children and has always been friendly and attentive to any of our issues. The center gives children crafts, word knowledge, general knowledge, and has worked with our toddler through potty training. There are good daycares in the Villa Rica area and Childcare Network is one of the best."
"I have been fortunate to have positive experiences in daycares that my children have attended. After several high-stress changes that me and my two children had to go through last year, finding this childcare center was a breath of fresh air. My 3 y/o went through some behavioral problems after transitioning from his previous daycare after our move. The teachers and the directors of this center worked so calmly with him and me to get him acclimated and comfortable with the center. He has continued to flourish here, and his teachers really feed his growing brain. My now one year old has been nothing short of a flowing girl every day since she started in the infant room. They focus on teaching the kids in a way that prepares them for early childhood education. I am fully confident leaving my little ones here every day knowing that they are cared for a loved by their teachers."
