"We have been seeing Dr. Jordan for about a month now due to infertility issues. She has guided us through every step of the way with clear direction and explanation of each process and procedure. Dr. Jordan has given us hope and answers that we have been waiting 1.5 years for. The SIS procedure was very beneficial to us! Each time we go into the office we are greeted with friendly faces by the most wonderful staff. I always feel like they are looking out for not only my best interest, but the best interest for my family. Nurse Latanya is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I have quite a phobia of needles and blood work, which requires me to lay down to get blood drawn. She was very understanding, considerate, compassionate, and distracted me through each blood draw with her lovely personality and amazing nursing skills. It was the best experience I have ever had at a doctors office. I cannot recommend Dr. Jordan, her staff, nurse Latanya, and the clinic itself more."
"No sensitivity, no communication and no care. After waiting 4 months for appointment, the doctor did not ask me why I was there, ignored me when I was talking, dismissed me when I told them why I had come, the doctor suddenly decided not to do an exam - when I sounded surprised and asked for one they practically threw the gown at me and told me to get changed. They rushed me through any time with me despite being made to wait over 1.5hrs in the exam room. They ordered some blood tests and did not explain anything to me before rushing to end the day. I had to ask the receptionist what on earth the doctor had ordered so I could explain it to my insurance. No sensitivity, no care. Will not be back. Do not recommend."
"Dr. Jordan and her entire team made my family’s dreams a reality. They provided extensive education, support, options, and access to these critical reproductive health services. I spent 2 years there as a patient and it was not easy physically/emotionally/financially but Dr. Jordan never gave up on my case and her fellows were also very committed to my health goals. I could always get in contact with a nurse via email to email my many questions/concerns and ensure I had my meds on time. I am so thankful for Dr. Jordan’s expertise and dedication to her profession. She is very knowledgeable and candid which I appreciate so much so we didn’t waste time and resources. Highly recommend this practice!"
"If you are queer or trans (or chronically ill/disabled) I cannot recommend enough that you go to this clinic for gender affirming care, or any reproductive healthcare. After the transphobia and discrimination that I've faced by doctors and hospitals in the augusta/mcduffie area, coming to this clinic was a breath of fresh air. Every single staff member I came into contact with was both knowledgable about and indescribably respectful of the trans community. My name and pronouns were respected by every single person in this office, without question and without hesitation. There was not a single second of my appointment that I was scared of being discriminated against or not taken seriously because I'm queer and trans, or because of my complex disabilities. There was no stigma, no shame, and no judgement. Not only is this the safest that I have ever felt in a doctor's office as a queer and trans person in the south, but every person on staff here is beyond competent and knowledgeable, and seem to genuinely care, want to help, and enjoy being here. This was my first appointment at this clinic and they took the time to take a comprehensive medical history and family medical history as well as listen to all of my concerns. I was never made to feel stupid, every step of my care was explained in detail to me, and all of my questions were answered. I've had dozens of doctor's appointments over the past couple of years with doctors that have treated me like nothing more than a paycheck for them, and even more appointments where doctors were openly transphobic against me or I felt I had to hide my identity to recieve appropriate care. The ONLY bad thing I could say about this clinic, the staff, or my appointment here is that the physical building is a bit of a tight squeeze if you're in a particularily wide or large wheelchair, but every staff member here went out of their way to move furniture and make space to accomadate me as needed. And, of course, it being a bit tight in my wheelchair doesn't reflect at all on the incredible, kind, respectful, and competent nurses, doctors, and front desk workers at this clinic. If you want a medical team that genuinely cares about you, listens to you, and respects you in every faucet of your identity, (but especially queer and trans people looking for a medical team that you know are wholehearted allies), go to this clinic. If you want to feel seen and heard as a patient, go to this clinic. If you want comprehensive, judgement and stigma free healthcare, go to this clinic. And to everyone who works here, you guys have set a whole new standard for how I expect and deserve to be treated by medical professionals. The kindness and respect yall treated me with today is going to stay with me for a long time, and for the first time in my life I'm not dreading my follow up appointment."
"Everyone in the office was very nice and pleasant including front desk, medical assistants, and nurses. I am so thankful for Dr. Jordan. She’s very knowledgeable. She may seem stern but she has a soft side. She was so happy for us when we “graduated”. Be prepared to get a lot of information. She wants you to prepared for the next steps. Let’s not forget about Dr. Theisen. My husband and I LOVED him. He is so easygoing, has great bedside manners, and compassionate. We were truly blessed to have a great team cheering for us."
