"I'm just another patient to add a bad review about the disastrous billing issue like the other reviewers here. Both my husband and I have called many times regarding updated insurance. I have provided new insurance information many times since fall of last year. A staffer has multiple times told me and my husband that they are refilling my claim and waiting for insurance response. My husband should receive a call back. Just today, I received another letter in the mail about my outstanding balance and nothing has changed. My husband called to follow up and was surprisingly told he has to have permission from me to inquire about billing issue. Not sure why it wasn't an issue before and all of a sudden it is. Either way, I signed and submitted the HIPPA form through the portal, even though the form did not cover anything about billing. But when my husband called back - and after a long wait - they said they haven't received it for some magical reason. Increasingly frustrated, I'm calling now and I'm being put on hold for a long time. I'm using the hold time to write this review. I'm still being on hold but now I'm too tired to keep complaining so I'll end the review here. UPDATE: I tried to call the billing department again, and after following the same prompt, I'm being told that they have closed. It's 3:10 pm on a Thursday. how are they closed? To the owner of this listing, before you respond with the same script about appreciating my feedback and forwarding to the billing department....just don't. Your billing department clearly knowns about it and still have an issue."
"We worked with the therapists in the Martinez office for nearly a decade and loved them, but the second we changed insurance providers and had some billing issues, everything went to hell. I've been calling and emailing every week for 3 months, and the issues are still unresolved. They owe me hundreds of dollars, and I've been told a dozen times the office manager will call me back, and she has not called me once. Super disappointing way to end this relationship."
"Unfortunately, it is very difficult to get billing issues resolved. I have called the office directly, as well as the billing department number, for several months to request itemized statements. I have been told “the request has been placed” but never received the statements. The front desk receptionist, Kristie, at the Augusta Office was extremely unhelpful, told me to call back to speak with the billing department and then hung up on me. I have been very unsatisfied as it has been unnecessarily difficult to get the itemized statement I have requested. Something that should be readily available. I love my therapist but don’t even want to see her anymore bc I don’t want to have to deal with this office/company!"
"I had to sessions at the Grovetown office with Mrs. Livingston and all I can say is I won't be doing a revisit with her. She seems to have a don't care attitude and all she does is sit with her computer prescribe medication and you have to initiate the the conversation. Oh not to mention she only see you 15min and cuts you off so she can get the next person. I found her to be a waste of time. I even had her speak with someone out of my EAP office who told her my diagnosis was not what Mrs. Livingston said and she still put something else down. And told me she would see me in 4 weeks. To me she's just there for the purpose of having a job and charging insurance. I asked for a report of my visit and she told me she doesn't do paperwork I'd have to get it from the front office. I never went to any doctor and wasn't able to get notes."
"You can never get a hold of anyone. The call back system is hit or miss. If they do call back, they hang up after two rings, or hang up after you pickup. Seriously the worst. Their portal is constantly breaking down, and won't fix. The telehealth breaks down then they charge you for no show (when it's the therapist or their system failing). You can't make appointments online, but the call system will tell you to. You can't reach anyone by regular email, and the portal can't be reset with a phone call, that they won't connect or return. This wasn't how it was. They had a "new system" started about 4 months ago, and now the customer/patient interface side of the whole business is the worst experience I've had the displeasure to be involved with."
