"I was referred to Sport & Spine Physicians b/c I was in a car accident. The front desk receptionist and staff were welcoming and responsive to my questions. My pain level was mild and inconsistent so I was expecting exercise tips etc. I was given prescription pain meds, muscle relaxers, a back brace, a shock therapy machine, pain cream and a cortisone shot referral. I don't think mild pain warrants that much medication or pain relief. I declined most of it (cortisone shot, all meds and the shock therapy machine). Not sure what's standard but I'm not a big medicine taker. I think the back brace and cream are enough for me."
