"My child has gone to this facility since she was a baby off and on due to military. Over time this place has went downhill and the quality of care is the worst. My daughter is now 10 yrs old and I have been trying to leave this place for a while. I’m going to talk about my most recent experience with in the last 5 yrs. Appointment time are set and your waiting in the waiting area over 1 hr. and once you have gotten back in to the room the wait can be another 30 + mins. Most recent experience my daughter had appt with Regina x2 and was for an fluid on here ear. she RX antibiotics, was suppose to schedule a follow up with the ENT and send over RX for my child asthma maintenance. I went to the pharmacy there was no RX on file. Please pass this establishment- the time in the waiting area was getting better but you would still have to wait in the room. Last issue was in 2023. This was my last straw, trying to get medical records and funny they can’t send it because there is a balance on hold on my acct but my child has been actively going to the dr. This again is a dang hold up. Last time I request for my daughter medical records to be sent to another office the other office never received it and the said they sent it- so my child’s medical records just in limbo. Who knows where?"
"I was deeply disappointed with the service my daughter and I received at PCW on our last visit. The wait time was over 25 minutes in the waiting but that wasn't the issue. I spoke to the receptionist about not being able to sign in because I couldn't get the Wi-Fi in their establishment and she proceeded to say this is the Wi-Fi name and password with a flippant undertone. I was left still trying to figure it out when my daughter was called into the examine room. The front desk care and customer service needs a lot of work. Then the examining rooms are filthy; looks like they haven't mopped in weeks. I didn't want my daughter to touch anything even though at that age of 17 months they want to walk around and explore. After being seen by the doctor we had to wait another 25 minutes in the dirty room for vaccinations that never came. My daughter was crying to get out so I know they could hear. When I stepped out the door and checked the same doctor and nurse looked confused and asked, why was I was still there??? Wow. I said to myself, this is a sign to get out of here. If no one knows what's going on, how can I trust you with giving my daughter the proper shots? Overall, we need to do better and give quality service and care for the people in our community. It definitely wasn't shown at this pediatric office. Good day."
"This center was amazing when I was with Dr. Hood. I’m not sure why, but for some reason, my children’s doctor was changed twice without explanation. The second doctor was fine and just as lovely as Dr. Hood. However, recently I was changed to Dr. Gomes and she has been horrible. Dr. Gomes does not listen to any concerns that I have about my child’s mental or physical health. She is extremely dismissive and is very condescending. She is not comforting towards my daughters during visits and my daughters are visibly nervous around her because she generally seems annoyed with them. She made a comment that my child was “addicted” to screen time because she reached for my phone when she was nervous during an examination. What a disgusting observation to make when you’ve been in the room with my child for all of 10 minutes and she reached for my phone once. Currently seeking better pediatric providers."
"I used to love this place been going here for nine years the last two years it has declined. Our wait times is well over an hour.. Just for the doctor to see us for 10 minutes and have us leave. They no longer check on you once you leave there are no longer calls to make sure your child is OK. If you’re late, your appointment is canceled plus you owe a fee but they will have you sitting in the lobby for over an hour. Have you sitting and the room waiting for provider for over 30 minutes. I honestly think it’s a scheduling issue or a communication problem. I had to start saving my emails because they tried to tell me I missed my appointment so I had to go back in my emails and prove that my appointment at the correct time I arrived. I pray that it gets better, but if it does not, I am definitely looking for other recommendations for my children."
"If I could give 0 starts I would. I want to start by saying Dr. Hood is an amazing doctor but we have not been able to get an appointment with her in over 2 1/2 years. I expressed time and time that we would only like to have appointments with Dr. Hood but every appointment over the last two years have been with someone new and the only response we get is Dr. Hood is out today. The last instance I was fed up so I cancelled the appointment and requested my sons medical records to have him moved. This process was absolutely horrible. We put the request in and the lady told us it could take up to two weeks for them to be sent over. long time but we agreed. Two weeks passed, I called to check, as the new provider had not received the records(waited on hold about 45 min) for a guy to tell me right now it could take up to 4-6 weeks for the records to be sent. At this point I'm a little upset but what can I do? I sent my fiancé to the office on week 6 because the new provider still had not received the records. They told him they sent the records but had no actual fax receipt. My fiancé asked could they just give the records to him and they told him no it was against the policy, but also told him they would do it for him for $30(Scam likely). He paid for them but here is the real scam they came with documents saying we owe the office $700. We have never received a bill in the mail or even a phone call to say that we have a balance due now we owe $700? How is this even possible when my child has only been seen for wellness visits which are covered under our insurance. Long story short save your time and protect your stress levels. This place is poorly ran, can't keep adequate staff, and is very unethical. Just shut the whole practice down! I 100% do not recommend."
