"A highly anticipated appt was made with Kweli, who I will not refer to as "doctor" as that is a title that comes with privilege/respect. Serious concerns were brought to her attention and were responded to with eye rolls, exaggerated sighs, irritated facial expressions and condescending "air quotes" while she continued to belittle us throughout the video visit. Our mere presence seemed to irritate her. There is a stigma around black males addressing mental health issues and is looked upon as a weakness. With Kweli being a black female, she knows better and needs to do better. She needs to do some serious soul searching and reconsider the profession she has chosen. She doesn't need to have interactions with human beings let alone mental health patients. What is extremely scary is that I've learned that she holds a high-level position within Kaiser's Behavioral Health Dept. involving quality assurance. Based on the abundance of negative reviews on multiple creditable sites this is a pattern and behavior for her. I was utterly disgusted by our interaction with this woman."

"I have been seeing Dr. Moyo for seven years now and trust her completely. Remember, she is NOT a therapist! She is a psychiatrist! Yes, she is blunt, but she is also effective and extremely intelligent. We have differed on some treatment courses and she has always respected that and not pressured me. From my experience with her, she has a realistic yet compassionate view of both her field and her patients' needs."

"Rude. Condescending. Has a bad attitude and seems irritated by everything. The worst experience I've had with KP. I told her she was offputting, seemed like she doesn't care, and seems like this is just a "job" for her. Of course after that she apologized and softened up but yeah. She is the worst. AVOID! And please don't use she's "real" as an excuse for her behavior. I've had plenty of psychology appointments throughout the years and all of them kept it real without being rude."

"I had a video appointment with Dr. Moyo for the first time and right at the beginning of the appointment she was rude and condescending. She was not empathetic about my concerns and kept on cutting me off when I was talking. Her facial expressions were every judgmental which made me very uncomfortable. The way she was talking to me made me feel like she was irritated with me. With in 5 minutes into the appointment, all I wanted to do was stop the appointment because I did not want to talk to her anymore. However, I did not stop the appointment because I didn't want to be rude and I had waited two months to see a psychiatrist. Because of Dr. Moyo, I will NEVER schedule an appointment with a Psychiatrist at Kaiser Permanente ever again just out of fear that they will be as rude, unhelpful, and judgmental as she was."

"I have been seeing Dr. Moyo for a while. I read the other reviews and here is what I think. She's real! She tells you how it is, but not in a way you are depressed more or feel more badly about yourself. I am honest; hence, I like when people are honest with me. I feel comfortable talking to her about my issues. She gives me advice, but I think she understands some things because she was in the same position once. Dr. Moyo responds to my emails right away. I really appreciate her as my doctor. Thank you!"
