"I have been bringing my children to Albany Pediatrics for the past 20 years. I never had any problems with them until the last two years. They have barely seen Dr. Roberts and without a valid reason, she refused to complete necessary forms I needed for my child's therapy services. I am definitely looking for a new pediatrician. But with AAPHC EVERYWHERE its almost impossible."

"I am very very displeased with this place since Albany area has taken over. Dr. Roberts is a very good pediatrician, however Albany area primary has proven time and time again that they DO NOT care for their patients. I have an 8 month old son who has almost died one twice and not once has this office put his care as a priority at all! I am not comfortable with them over seeing my child's needs."

"we love our doctor here, but the staff answering phones is so snappy and rude since the swap to albany area primary care. it’s a pain to call about anything. especially knowing that whoever answers is going to be rude for absolutely no reason. also worth mentioning, we had a checkup scheduled and had to reschedule. next open appointment is a month away. and the lady who answered the phone was rude about that, too. again, didn’t have this issue before AAPHC took over. the fact that we can’t ever get in to be seen when our kids are sick, and the fact that there are never appointments open, is the reason we’ll be swapping offices."

"If you can, please avoid this practice. My daughter was a patient of Dr. Hester’s for 17 years at Albany Pediatrics. Since transitioning to Albany Area Primary Health Care, it has been a nightmare trying to schedule an appointment with a doctor at this location. Upon calling, you will reach a call center, where the staff isn’t the most knowledgeable. You’re lucky if you’re able to speak with the Office Manger. Please save yourself the headache and take your children elsewhere. It’s definitely a no for me. 0/10"

"I have used Albany Pediatrics for going on 9 years. Dr.Hester is a wonderful doctor! My children love him and he makes us all feel so comfortable! He listens to my worries and always explains things to me so I know what's going on with my children before we walk out out door. I couldn't dream of a better doctor for my kids! We love all the ladies up front too! I recommend Dr.Hester and Albany Pediatrics to all mamas and daddy's! They are truly wonderful!"
