"I have had no issues with this office. When I needed an insulin refill urgently, it was promptly taken care of. When I call, the phone is answered promptly. It takes time to get an initial appointment but that is normal for specialists - especially in this area."
"My wife and I came to help with issues with fertility which we completely explained to the receptionist and also filled out paperwork for. We waited for over an hour for the doctor to say they don't do anything with reproduction hormones which makes no sense since even their website says they do and they then said that is what an OB is for when our OB told us to come to an Endocrinologist. I do not recommend to come if you're trying to conceive a child."
"Dr Mustapha, Your office is inept and lacks professionalism. I was referred to you after my endocrinologist and friend past away unexpectedly. It took months to get an appointment. During our appointment on September 17th you asked me if I needed any of my prescriptions renewed. Because my medicine expires, I decided that we could wait until the current prescriptions were closer to expiring. In November I tried for weeks to get someone to respond to me from your office. Finally getting someone on the phone, I was told to have my pharmacy fax over a request. The pharmacy faxed you 3 times and heard nothing. I tried to contact your office again but once again, no one answered the phone or returned my messages. After a week, I reached out to my referring doctor who had to do your job for you and renew my prescriptions. After asking your office to fax over my lab requests, fasting, and then showing up for my blood work on December 3rd, the lab tech stated they never received anything from your office. I called your office to verify and they said that I needed to make an initial appointment to get a lab request. Your receptionist stated that her records showed I cancelled my September 17th appointment. Please see the attachments to this email that include the visit summary, recommendations, lab request with your signature, and a receipt for my copay. Due to the complete lack of proficiency of any one in your office to do their job, I decided to seek out another referral. I am no longer comfortable with you providing for my care. Please cancel all future appointments if not already done so. I called your office to cancel all future appointments and tried to give the person on the phone some constructive criticism. She then hung up on me. I assumed she was still in junior high to act like that. Perhaps you should employ some professionals. Of course, your staff is reflecting the attitude and professionalism of their leader. I will be reaching out to my insurance company to contest any charges your office filed. I will also speak with my referring doctor and recommend that he makes no more referrals to your office. Jeff Barmoy USAF LtCol (Ret)"
"This place does not answer phones and does not cooperate with other doctor's offices. I have had an urgent issue and I was referred to them, but it's been a month and nothing has happened. I have been calling multiple times per day and nobody picks up, and when my primary care provider tried to get in contact, they wouldn't cooperate with them. One time, I was lucky enough to get through to the receptionist, but she hung up on me when I asked her for an appointment. If you want to see an endocrinologist that cares about their patients and exhibits even the slightest level of customer service, you're better off going to Northern Virginia."
"I like the doctor but the staff reminds me of why I switched. Maybe it's time to continue the search. Wish primary care docs would give me the time of day, would make life so much easier. This place never called to tell me my appointment was cancelled. I left a message and didn't hear back, so I called and they were so short with me. At least they have something in a week because I'm about out of medication."
