"Dr. Shakoor refused to see me because, two years ago, I chose to see another doctor over him. After speaking to me in a extremely condescending manner, he sent me away in pain and ill out of pettiness rather than treat the problem I am having currently. Way to uphold your Hippocratic Oath, doctor! I would avoid him at all costs."

"As a "community GI practice" it's decent for a quick colonoscopy or endoscopy. Not a good fit for long-term care. The doctor is particularly conservative about prescribing any medication, he does not listen to valid complaints such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, and GI bleeding, and is not well versed on newer medications on the market. The practice will not entertain telehealth appointments and will quickly pawn you off to a "larger practice" such as Emory if you ask too many questions. Ended up being hospitalized ten days after my appointment. Very disappointed."

"Dr Shakoor is excellent but his billing staff is incompentent. Billed a year late for a procedure over a year ago, billed it wrong and the insurance check came to me for the anesthesia which I forwarded to the company...they now continue to bill me for 3500 I was told would be corrected. STILL. calling me, I guess I will have to get an attorney. They wont even try to correct. Why is the doctor office billing me for anesthesia when the anesthesia company has already been paid?"
