"Took my children up to the “doctor” appointment is at 2:00, not seen until 3:15. Once seen they test my children for the flu, one child has the flu, and one child doesn’t. They inform me that the child who doesn’t is probably in the beginning stages of the sickness, that I should “just bring her back in a few days if symptoms continue”. I’ll never return to this place again. This is the THIRD experience with this doctor office where I was very uncomfortable and unsatisfied with the care they’ve provided."

"We moved to Americus in 2020 and started to use Sumter pediatrics because of its convenient location. In all of that time we never once saw an actual doctor, only nurse practitioners. The one time we had an appointment with the doctor because my son hurt his leg, we waited for an hour and by the time they called us back, the doctor had left for lunch. The nurse practitioner that day was very unsure of why my son was in pain and I decided to make an appointment the following day with the NP we usually see. When the bill came in for both appointments, I asked about it kindly since it seemed crazy to pay double when they wasted an entire day that my kid was pain. They did comp the appointment, but then sent us a letter telling us to find a new pediatrician. Really?! No explanation at all. I guess we will find a pediatrician who cares enough to see his patients. I kindly recommend that you do the same."

"WORST child doctor ever! I’ve been with them for 4 years! I tried to stick it out with them because Madrazo was my doctor when I was a child, but he needs to take control of his establishment. My kids got exposed to RSV, so as soon as I heard I took them to Madrazo at 8, they informed me that since I didn’t make an appointment I’ll have to wait two or more hours when all I wanted was a nurse to come and swab them while we waited in the car so no one else would be exposed. They wanted me to come in knowingly knowing that it is contagious. Someone yelled at me on the phone saying “we are not an urgent care” I informed them that they had to go to daycare I need results, she basically told me she doesn’t care make an appointment when in previous situations they came and swabbed them. Wait hours are entirely too long! You have to clear your whole schedule to go here! Looking for a better doctor!"

"We waited an hour and 15 to even see a nurse practitioner. We saw a NP we’ve seen before and she was just as dismissive as she’s always been. She was in the room for a total of three minutes. She didn’t talk to my daughter other than commands. Then she said my daughters weight was high and she needed a cholesterol panel when she weighs less than she did a year ago. My daughter is in the 99th percentile for height and 85th for weight. They didn’t have a concern when she was in the 99th for weight last year but suddenly it is. And she’s the same person we saw a year ago. They’re allowed to act like this because there aren’t many pediatricians in Americus."
