"Every person in here was amazingly nice. The receptionist all had on Xmas sweater and ears this made my day. Dr.Katoch was the nicest professional Dr I ever had. She explains every single thing she does for you and why. She took time to get to know me and my story and she was personable. Kayla who checked me out was super friendly and personable the two black ladies in labs was duper friendly and rescheduled my labs because they couldn’t do the ones I needed"
"At first I thought I would have had a great experience with this cancer center, but unfortunately I could not get through the referral department in a timely manner. They unfortunately had no clue on which medical records my mom needed to have, to get the continued care. It took almost two months for her to get an appointment because of them not knowing the proper protocol! They didn't know if they needed all the records from the last facility or some of the records. I went in person to the John B Amos facility. They had me begging and crying because somebody was telling me one thing while the other clerk told me another! About time, my mom got her appointment set; she had to go into the ER for an infection. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the set appointment! Sadly, two weeks later she passed away at the other facility. I am truly hurt by this, and I would not recommend this facility because of a lack of procedure and long delay of appointment or care. I wish everyone luck."
"Took my mom here for a follow-up for pain management with Dr. Rutvij Shah. We waited more than an hour and a half past her appointment time before she was seen. The nurse came in and apologized several times for the delay, but when Dr. Shah came in, he offered no apology and no explanation. He spent maybe 5 minutes in the room. He did not even examine her. He sat in a chair the whole time and could not have seemed more disinterested or apathetic. He volunteered very little information. Also, at one point during our very long wait, my mom had to use the restroom. Dr. Shah was sitting in a chair at the front of the office with the nurses. Unfortunately, I am no stranger to long waits and poor bedside manner. I have two children with neuromuscular disease who see various specialists, and I see two specialists myself. This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I have called and spoken with the office manager, who was very kind and apologetic. However, I cannot and will not recommend Dr. Shah to anyone."
