"Originally I wanted to give them 5 stars but after multiple bad experiences not anymore! I had a tonsillectomy back in 2023… I had a great experience leading up to my surgery and even my actual surgery. Afterwards, I had an awful recovery. One of which was that I had a negative reaction to my pain medication. When I called them about it, the nurse basically told me I had to be addicted to the medication and that they could not fill another type of pain medication. Due to family stuff- I am very particular about medication and I follow directions! That is absolutely RUDE and more than that an awful thing to say over the phone! After two weeks I finally had my post op appointment. It went great and I was finally done with this clinic… at checkout I asked them to double check I was completely paid for as I did not want any bills. I even called them last year to make sure there wasn’t anything to pay! They assured me that all the money I paid was good and I was all set. Fast forward to now 2024, I just received a collections notice because of them. I am beyond angry… I have received NO phone calls, NO emails, and NO mail regarding ANYTHING. Best part is that they have my address wrong when I have numerously told them the correct address- both verbally and written down. This is ridiculous and I hope this may help someone else to call and double check before you get into a situation like the one I am currently in. To anyone who is thinking about going here DON’T. I have told friends and family to go somewhere else and to avoid this place… wouldn’t want them to be called a drug addict and never receive help!"
"First visit - doctor chatted with me for less than 10 minutes and prescribed me antibiotics, steroids, and anti fungal. It was odd that the visit was so quick. They do not pick up the phone. I have called the office over 10 times since my visit to ask a question about the prescription and no answer. I finally left a message on the line for making appts, said on the message that no one was picking up the phone and someone finally called me back. Just go to Piedmont ENT if you can. I was prescribed nasal sprays from Piedmont ENT and already feel 100% better."
"I wasn't able to even go see the doctor for an issue I've been having for 2 weeks now because the office staff is completely unprofessional, unknowledgeable, cancelled my appointment (without providing a reason why), and could not answer any questions over the phone and tried to constantly redirect me to a different office. I'm sure the physicians in this office are wonderful, but the incompetency of the staff at the front desk are a good reason for me to never want to travel to this medical office. To try to get answers to anything was like pulling teeth. So now I have to delay treatment for my sinus issues even longer. Would highly recommend making an ENT appointment elsewhere."
"First off, let me say Becky the front desk receptionist was very kind and gracious. I am writing this review from the parking lot because I want to share my experience without watering down what happened. My appointment was at 11:45a, I arrived 10 min early. After filling out paperwork, they ran my card and shared that my insurance coverage ended, which was a surprise to me. I asked to have a moment so that I could contact insurance. While sitting on hold at 12:00p staff member from the back yelled “we just need to reschedule!” … I could tell Becky tried to calm the situation by saying “well let’s just wait a minute and see.” I immediately agreed to reschedule because I didn’t want to take up any of their time. The issue is: 1. Lack of patience (there’s usually a 15 min grace period window. Surely they could have accommodated that while I figured out what was going on with my insurance.) 2. The unprofessional commentary from the random staff member in the back. She was very loud in this quaint and quiet office. In fact, when I first walked in I heard her very loudly complaining the way another patient spoke to her. Again, Becky tried to calm down the situation by not going back and forth with her. This seems like a great office, but there is a time and place for everything. That one staff member makes you not valued. I was prepared to pay $150 out of pocket if my insurance didn’t cover it, but when the staff member yelled “we need to reschedule” I no longer felt welcomed and valued. Thank you Becky, for being kind. Shame on that other staff member for not knowing how to conduct her behavior in a professional setting."
"I had a new patients consult for Dr. Young (ENT) on 4/29/22. The locations is clean, all the staff are pleasant and professional. My appointment was at 8:10a.m. Dr. Young listen to all my concerns, conducted a small procedure to confirm my diagnosis, sent my prescriptions to my pharmacy and I was out by 8:38a.m. I have NEVER seen any physician with such professionalism and efficiency in such a short time. He is knowledgable, respectful and cares about his patients time and quality of care. I'm 45 and he is the best provider I have even come into contact with."
