"So far I've only used the dental office, but my experience so far has been great! I've had appointments, and so far haven't had to wait long at all. I've had a cleaning done by Dr. Wick Tammie and Michele, they were quick, friendly, and efficient. If you are self pay/no insurance, this is the place to go. I'm paying half of what I would at my regular dentist. I will be checking out their primary care as well."
"I love them. NP Maria Martinez Barnes is amazing, kind, and knowledgeable. She really listens to you. And Marlisa was also very very kind and courteous. I wish I had been going to them sooner. They both deserve 10 stars."
"Went in for a sports physical for the teenager. The front desk staff member is incompetent. Total ding dong. Stand at her podium while it takes her forever to check you in. Only to then have to go over to the kiosk to sign countless documents. Which is not an issue if you didn't just stand there with her for 10 minutes. After she said , "please don't leave a minor as I was planning to pick up a few items in Wal-Mart. I respond okay, what' the turnaround time to be called back. Her: you will be called back shortly". Forty minutes later.....I'm called to the back. Only to be asked, have you completed the sports physical form? Uhm, no...... Something that could have been done while waiting in the freaking waiting room for 40 minutes! Long story very short.......Thanks to Dr. Patel for being amazing, in addition to unknowingly proving customer service recovery. Being those clowns prior to getting to him would eff up a doctors private practice. Nah. They wouldn't even be considered for employment; no other place other than Wal-mart Health Center. Yes. I have private insurance. Was not able to schedule with PCP being the timeframe needed. They should be hiring for a Office Manager."
"If I can give this place less than a 1 I would! I am pregnant with some type of cold and was calling to make an appointment. The woman who does scheding was telling me she couldn't help me due to her hearing my symptoms: coughing, sweating, sore throat, sputum that was green, and chest pain. Mind you I have been sick for 1.5 weeks. She says she can't help because I said I had chest pain from coughing so much. I then ask her to speak with a manager because this can't be the only way to deal with patients. She goes off the phone for 20 minutes comes back and say her manager said no. I ask for that same manager, she says the manager is in a meeting. I refuse to not share the lies that was presented and let Walmart know how incompetent their employees are. She could barely speak English which is why I had to speak with someone who can better understand me. She refused to put anyone other than her on the phone."
"After struggling to find a doctor that was accepting new patients, that wasn't a 30+ minute drive, I acquiesced and decided to be seen by Maria Martinez Barnes, NP, who accepted my insurance. Today was my first appointment with this practice and to say that I was apprehensive about being seen by a 'clinic' is an understatement. I am happy to report that I was pleasantly surprised. My interaction with various staff members from check-in to check-out was an absolute joy/pleasure. My triage nurse - Brigette - was so personable. Talking to her was like talking to a long-lost friend! My time with "Dr." Martinez was a joy to talk with and her concern for some of my on-going issues seemed truly genuine. The X-Ray Tech along with the MA who checked me out (forgot both of their names), were just as pleasant to deal with. I appreciate everyone I came into contact with and look forward to continuing my primary care with "Dr." Martinez/Walmart Health - Conyers."
