The Family Health Center at West End 868 York Avenue Southwest, Atlanta, GA 30310

"They need to be more respective of patient's time. I arrived 25 mins early for my morning obgyn appt. Was registered and asked to sit. I sat for 85 mins listening to side conversations, jokes, and lunch orders and still no one called my name or checked on my status. Everyone had been seen including the walkins and I was the only remaining person sitting in the waiting area across from the reception desk. It wasnt until everyone was going to lunch that one of the receptionist noticed me finally and ask what happen. I told her they forgot about me and never called me. She went back and made them aware and they confirmed I was checked in but that was all. Some random lady who did not looked like one of the doctor, FNP, or PA or identify herself as one finally came and got me. Instead of seating me in a room, she pulled me to the hall where the rest of the staff was and told me "everything came back fine. Youre good." And sent me on my way within 2 seconds. Shaking my head and leaving the building, I could not phantom the disrespect, carelessness, lack of protocol, and lack of empathy/privacy. If there were issues behind the scene, they could have and should have been communicated to the patrons. A simple " we are sorry " would have made a great difference but none of that was given. Not a single genuine apology. They went back to lunch plans like nothing happened. Been here for years and never felt this kind of mistreatment. Cant blame the holidays because it was not busy. Literally was there days before and earlier in the month where it was busier and but things were moving along. Hope this doesnt happen frequently at this establishment. If so, I wont return or recommend."

"This is the worst place. Please do not take your kids there. My daughter is a regular patient at this health center. We got a call from our daughter's school stating that we must take her to her primary doctor because she kept throwing up in school. We took her to this center as a walk-in. When we got there, I explained that my daughter wasn't feeling well and that my daughter was a regular. The receptionist got smart with me and told me I had to make an appointment. She didn't have any compassion. So, I called to make an appointment, but no one answered. I went back to this health center and explained to the receptionist that I tried to make an appointment, but no one answered the phone. The receptionist said I don’t know what to tell you and walked off. It’s funny how black people treat each other. They need to fire the whole staff."

"I have been going to this location for years and people would ask me why. Well back in the day I would have given a 6 but now, a 2! Because when they make an appointment to see your doctor, you're finally ready to tell him all that going on. But wait, he's NO show! So you're like okay something came up, but on the next 2 or 3 appointments he's Not there , it's time to end this relationship. I have really good insurance. WHY AM I COMING HERE?"

"Very unprofessional and disrespectful. I literally walked out due to the growing anger I had listening to how they treat ppl there. I have insurance thank God but those that don't I understand how y'all feel. It's the professionalism and compassion that's missing. If I could've given no stars I would. I'm thankful my grandma don't have to use this place. I literally never had such dreadful experience no where and I only came cuz it's convenient for me. New patients do not go here. They should've kept ga power there cuz these mfs are terrible"

"If I could give them 0 stars I would!!! I am currently pregnant. I’ve been to a few appointments and the relationship with the nurse/document is not good at all... they don’t have a relationship with their patients and the nurses are very rude. I had test taken and didn’t receive/ still haven’t received test results and it’s been about 3 weeks"
